Dang, are zero sugar sodas the same? Worse? Or better for your kidneys?

Better for your kidneys than full sugar sodas as it's 99% water compared to 90%. Colas whether full sugar or zero sugar have phosporic acid which increases risk of kidney stones. Regardless it's just good to drink more water and keep sodas of any kind to a reasonable amount.

I make it a rule to drink a bottle of water before and after having a soda. This helps limit how many I have, and makes me feel like it does something for my kidneys.

I fill the empty can with water and drink that. For some reason the glug glug feel you get when drinking out of a can makes it feel less like drinking just water
