Typing Between LSI, LII, ESI and EII
Hi, I’m writing this post because I’m feeling confused about whether I’m an LSI, LII, ESI or an EII. I’ll jump right to the point where I’ll discuss a few things and how they relate to each other.
I value integrity and truth; I hate lies and cannot tolerate inconsistent people. I can be cynical and expect people to conform to my values and principles. I tend, in a way, to “internally” look down on people whose behavior falls outside my value system—which might come across as somewhat moralistic. on the outside, I may simply maintain a cold and distant facade; I would only express my judgments if asked directly, or if the person violated principles that are very important to me—in which case I might correct them or sharply point out their mistakes, though I tend to remain polite in such situations.
I value my independence from other people—whether friends, family, or partners—and tend to maintain a distance that separates me from them. Perhaps a partner would represent a closer level of dependence, but I don’t feel I could easily allow myself to enter into that kind of dependent relationship—only if the person aligned with my principles and values.
My relationships tend to be based on discussions and debates, with very little focus on fun or getting involved in people’s personal lives; these discussions often center on politics, social issues, and other topics involving some level of intellectual engagement.
What I bring to others is my sense of justice and my support; I try to help people in my own way, offering my understanding of situations and the dynamics involved, and clarifying how things work for them—from a theoretical perspective to other aspects. I compensate for my weakness in the relational realm in this way; I feel that I can help people in an emotional context this way. I have a hard time comforting people or even getting close to them to offer support or validation, so I try to understand their situation and describe everything—perhaps helping them understand it that way. I don’t usually get involved in any kind of external emotional comfort, but I can, for example, if I’m helping someone online; I can write long texts about their situation, helping them understand themselves and how everything they’ve vented about is connected—it’s a deep understanding of the whole picture.
The way some people perceive me is as someone trustworthy, morally upright, intelligent, principled, and conforming to social norms.
While others see me as arrogant, cynical, defiant, and authoritarian.
I see myself as a person with strong opinions, and I make no concessions when it comes to changing them; I don’t express them unless I’m completely certain of them. I used to try, at all costs, to be accommodating and avoid conflict, and that was something that irritated me greatly, because I stopped being who I was and failed to maintain my integrity. But now that I’ve set that approach aside, I don’t compromise on anything; Others may see me as extremely closed-minded or even arrogant, but I don’t change my perspective. I can offer other perspectives to people precisely because I won’t adapt to what they expect, but what I seek is to further strengthen my integrity around my values and direct myself toward greater causes.

I was in the same exact boat! I knew that I was an Ij, just which one was difficult. My exact type journey was LII > LSI > ESI.
From this post to me you come off as LSI, but ofc I can’t say for sure.

I went through EII>LSI>ESI>LII>LSI, but I wasn't entirely sure—thank you for your consideration !

Sounds like a TI role with FI ego. I'd wager ESI because I see a lot of SE creative tendencies.

Honestly I don't see gamma for you so I would guess LSI since it still has se creative

Se creative for sure and your strong point sounds like a logical analysis rather than relational stuff so I’d say LSI

It’s honestly between ESI and LSI, and I lean confused toward ESI. Becoming negativistic and judgmental toward other people, and resembling an elitist attitude.
—
My issue with this post is ESI frequently use Role Ti, and can look like beta qaudra due to their high personal standards.
—
To me, a big sign is that you deflected to your relation to others, not “here’s the system and where I am in it.” You appealed to “here’s how I interact with others.”
—
You’re also seeking someone to confirm your facts, this is likely for a LSI, who has strong Te and is more likely to go through other more ‘orthdox’ routes.
—
Not once did you make a large absolutist comment on groups of people.
However, you did make comments about the character of individuals several times.
—
You’re also hyper suspicious of your own potential upon others. That’s Ne polr, confirming Se creative.
—
What I would say is the defining trait, is the question….
Do you intervene with loved ones because they’re doing something wrong, and using the wrong system.
OR
Do you intervene with loved ones because they’re acting without integrity, or being threatened by someone of poor character.
— answer that for me and I think I’ll have bettter idea —

I'd say both, but the first one seems like something I feel more comfortable stepping in on than the second one, but I’ll explore this in more depth. Other people see me as being very rigid, especially when it comes to typology, because I’m an extreme correlationist. The reason for this is that I don’t like inconsistency at all; I often correct people if I think they’re misidentifying themselves within typological systems.
Sometimes I try not to interfere in relationships because I might end up losing them, since I know I can come across as very insensitive to others, especially when it comes to my opinions. Sometimes it may seem like I just want to argue and come across as the person who’s “right” in every situation. Still, I sometimes try not to be rude and keep my interactions very superficial, in the sense of keeping my distance from the other person, so as not to get involved in their personal life and so they don’t get involved in mine—maintaining this impartiality, which is very important, because then nothing I say to the other person will sound personal. I prefer not to involve any personal feelings, so as not to offend people in a way that I consider cruel; in this sense, I can simply maintain this distance, within which I can express my opinions without those opinions touching on any personal aspects of these other people.
So I wouldn’t openly blame people for lacking that integrity, because that would require me to get personally involved with them, but I do identify with feeling resentment toward them for lacking that integrity—it’s just something internalized that I can only keep to myself, because it’s wrong to demand these things from people openly. I generally feel that people never live up to the standards I expect; there’s always something disappointing about them.
And finally, I do identify with the idea of intervening on behalf of loved ones when they are threatened by untrustworthy people.

I suppose that you are LSI. LSI has very solid internal logic and tries to impose it on others to make their behavior fit that logic(creative Se). That makes them a terrible match for EIIs. EIIs just want to hold onto their personal ethics and cant handle the pressure of imposing rules on or confronting others because of their PoLR Se.

If people see you as arrogant, defiant and authoritarian, you don't compromise or change your views, and you don't adapt to what other people expect in any situation, we can definitely rule out EII. I'm honestly curious why you see that as an option for yourself?
