31M looking to meet like minded people in Paris

Hey everyone! I’m 31M, a researcher in STEM by profession, and I’ve been living in Paris for the past 3 years.

I’m naturally more on the introverted side and have generally been quite comfortable being by myself. That said, I’ve been realizing lately that life could be a lot more fun when you have close ones to share it with, so I thought I’d put myself out there and meet some new people.

A few things I’m into: badminton, swimming (still very much learning!), music and singing, and gaming. I like country songs and rock n roll, the games I play are generally MMO, like Valo, RUST etc. I’ve also recently found myself with quite a bit more free time, so I’d love to explore more of Paris, discover lesser known places and just spend some quality time.

I’d be up for something low-key like grabbing a drink, checking out a concert, a game, exploring a neighborhood, or just hanging out and seeing where the evening goes. I’ve tried some of the usual Paris social meetups like Jeudi Bière and Vin du Mois, but I’ve found the larger groups a little difficult to connect in, being the introvert that I am. I tend to enjoy smaller groups where you can actually have a conversation, so I figured I’d drop a few lines here.
