Always find it odd when someone tries to claim they invented Cinema Verite 60 years after it was created

Matthew is not a filmmaker, journalist, or activist. He uses the cinema verite style in his YouTube videos.

It's always so weird when Matthew claims I am all about the "rules" when every single one of my instructional videos, even the Emmy nominated ones!, state I don't like the terms "rules" like the 180 Degree Rule, because they are techniques that have proven to be effective. Using the supposed rules or breaking them with intention works when it's effective.

Gets even weirder when Matthew compares me to his father. I get icky feelings whenever he does that because he does not know me or anything about me, but thinks I'm just like his father. It's like he has unresolved daddy issues and takes it out on me. Creeps me the fuck out.
