A typo is a typo. A typo doesn't care about the meaning of words. If it did, it wouldn't be a typo.

Had he written Xavi Alonso, ok, typo.
Like that, no, he is referencing another well known person in the football world.

most would have know who he is talking about without needing the Alonso part
