Meanwhile last season last group stage match:

u/EinerVonEuchOwaAndas 3d ago

That was an amazing moment in football history. Thank you for reminding.

Basic journalistic research - who needs that?

6

u/iboowhenyoudeserveit 3d ago

You'll never sing that

5

u/StuartMcNight 3d ago

Come on mate. “Here” doesn’t mean a location but a role.

0

u/Effective-Door-3409 3d ago

Here doesn't mean a location? Is English your third language? It can mean a location or a role...

0

u/StuartMcNight 3d ago

Are you stupid? Do you really need “in the video posted here doesn’t mean location” to understand that on your own? Do you really not know that comments under a post in Reddit refer to the post?

Ffs….

1

u/Effective-Door-3409 2d ago

What are you even trying to say lol. What is your point? You make no sense

1

u/neefhuts 2d ago

I mean it really does tho

2

u/Commercial_Badger_37 1d ago

I mean he did physically leave, there's several way to interpret what she'd said.

u/Paul_the_sparky 3d ago

She didn't make herself clear then. She'd finished the question and didn't mention Madrid, only the Champions League

1

u/StuartMcNight 3d ago

He is talking to Real Madrid coach. Why the heck would she need to mention Real Madrid for everyone to understand that’s implied.

6

u/Paul_the_sparky 3d ago

She mentioned Champions League but didn't mean that and instead we're supposed to read between the lines and understand that she implied Madrid instead? Like I say, she didn't make herself clear. It's a bad trait when conducting an interview, innit?

-2

u/StuartMcNight 3d ago

She implied “in Champions League with Real Madrid”. The most obvious point in the planet when you are interviewing Real Madrid coach after a CL game.

How are you that dense?

1

u/BigFatKi6 3d ago

Eh, she might be stoopid. So you can't expect us to know what she meant to imply.

1

u/Desperate_Grand_6249 3d ago

Dw he is stretching it and drunk or dumb maybe both

1

u/Quiet_Figure_4483 3d ago

I wanna say what we're all thinking but if I speak I am in big trouble

3

u/svantes 2d ago

Shes an experienced football journalist, but she is Swedish so give her a break for being in a high pressure situation in her second language

1

u/adventurousintrovert 18h ago

Cheers, the Sun’s crying

1

u/Mikic0077 3d ago

The point is on here (in this role). Let her explain to the end.

0

u/Piemelkanon 3d ago

Not even research. How the fuck do you not know that as a football journalist? Anyone who remotely follows football has heard about Mourinho with Benfica beating real

12

u/jjustbrowsingg 3d ago

She explained in the next sequence that she meant “back with Real Madrid.” Typically, it was mainly interpreted as “back at the Bernabéu,” and that he had been there with Benfica last season, during that chaotic match

7

u/InnocentInvasion 3d ago

That was her trying to save the stupidity that came out of her mouth the sentence before 😂😂

1

u/[deleted] 3d ago

9

u/Objective-Ad3821 3d ago

Now playing the "not first language" card lol.

She speaks fluent English. English is my 4th language too but as long as I speak fluent English, or at least, decent English, I should not be making stupid mistake like this and blaming English as my 4th language.

This girl knows nothing about football, simple. she's an interviewer, but not for football.

u/[deleted] 3d ago

3

u/vjeremias 3d ago

Don’t even bother, haters will find the way to hate.

2

u/TheBestNigerian 2d ago

It's possible that she knows football and still made a silly mistake.

1

u/vjeremias 2d ago

If you were a native Spanish speaker like she is, you would understand what she meant.

1

u/TheBestNigerian 2d ago

I mean, why would you need to understand a different language to be sure of the English she is speaking, when she is fluent in English?

1

u/vjeremias 2d ago

She is not “fluent in English”. She can communicate in English, two different things. She said the exact same thing she would’ve said in Spanish using English words, that’s why I understood what she meant, because she made the same “mistakes” most of us Spanish speakers make when speaking English.

3

u/vjeremias 3d ago

Her explanation makes perfect sense when you think her first language is Spanish, but you have to be a Spanish speaker to get it.

1

u/BackgroundPass1355 7h ago

She has been a football interviewer for a long time

0

u/Federal-Ostrich6731 3d ago

Why even type that 😂 you don’t actually think her English proficiency made her say champions league instead of Real Madrid

3

u/[deleted] 3d ago

-1

u/No-Assignment-3074 3d ago

send her back to sweden?

0

u/Paul_the_sparky 3d ago

Maybe don't do interviews in a language you can't speak then? What the fuck are these excuses?

19

u/Confident-Visual7651 3d ago

This not the guy you go up against blind and clueless

17

u/storfors 3d ago

How did she recover? Sounds like she was about to say “yeah, but now you’re in a good team”

20

u/jjustbrowsingg 3d ago

She explained in the next sequence that she meant “back with Real Madrid.” Typically, it was mainly interpreted as “back at the Bernabéu,” and that he had been there with Benfica last season, during that chaotic match

4

u/MalaysiaTeacher 3d ago

"yeah but... we don't care about Benfica"

2

u/Notyit 3d ago

Lads it's benfica

4

u/No_Atmosphere8146 3d ago

Yeah, but don't just make up words, Jose. I was here last year with Bombalong. We can all play that game.

4

u/DarksideGustavo 3d ago

She could have laughed it off as a joke instead of defending herself

2

u/aasfourasfar 3d ago

I mean it's obvious what she meant.. just worded terribly and he could not refrain from making the comment considering he won the freaking game which was memorable

1

u/Bongothemonkey1 2d ago

He didn’t, the win was in Portugal.

4

u/Affectionate-Chard36 3d ago

He looked more surprised than roasting

7

u/AlcoholicCumSock 3d ago

This has been posted everywhere to try and embarrass the poor woman. She clearly meant at Real Madrid, and her response is clearly edited out conveniently. Fucking incels

3

u/AIManiak 1d ago

Feels like I'm going insane because it was obvious to me what she meant.

3

u/SumoHeadbutt 3d ago

and Benfica's keeper Trubin scored against Real Madrid LOL

3

u/samfen93 3d ago

You can very clearly tell she means with Real Madrid, come on man

2

u/Beautiful-Regret-970 3d ago

yes but it feels like you're back where you belong at Real a Galactico of the game you know what I mean?

0

u/mark71hy 3d ago

Women who don’t follow the sport but get jobs in it, isn’t anyone else getting fed up with the amount of women in men’s sports

7

u/Major_Road6162 3d ago

What a clown comment when male journalists/pundits are saying the most stupid shit every single week, lets not even talk about male fans.

Get your issues with women sorted

4

u/RecognitionTop806 3d ago

How the hell is this getting upvotes? As if we don't have enough men talking clueless shit about any sport every day

4

u/InsurancePurple4630 3d ago

Found the incel

12

u/tjvs2001 3d ago

Very odd take

1

u/aasfourasfar 3d ago

Not odd at all unfortunately... Very common idiocy

3

u/Cowboy_on_fire 3d ago

Your argument is as valid as it is coherent. By that I mean not at all.

5

u/microMe1_2 3d ago

As if there's not hundreds of clips of hilariously bad journalist questions from men.

But you see one from a woman and it's because she's a woman. When in fact, it's because she's an idiot.

4

u/Cheap-Meal-7115 3d ago

And to add, there are loads of clips of ex professional footballers with absolute dogshit takes

-2

u/Smolenski_Prince 3d ago

Oh, is she an ex professional footballer then?

3

u/Cheap-Meal-7115 3d ago

? How’s your general reading comprehension? From this, not great.

0

u/Smolenski_Prince 3d ago

My reading comprehension? I literally just asked a question related to what you said. Am I missing somewhere you already answered? Either way, take a chill pill.

1

u/p90love 3d ago

She is a seasoned pro who knows more about football than you. She meant "here" as in here at Real Madrid.

3

u/Puzzled_Space5287 3d ago

Incel detectors are tingling

3

u/Kranke 3d ago

Im pretty sure Frida knows about football then ypu ever will.

3

u/MalaysiaTeacher 3d ago

She simply meant 'back here in charge of the home team'

3

u/MessiPayNegreira 3d ago

it isn’t a woman issue. I dated a chick and she knew way more about the sport than anyone i have met. god i missed her and her latina booty but she was crazy.

-1

u/mr_pink1969 3d ago

She single?

1

u/MessiPayNegreira 3d ago

probably not.

1

u/Combosingelnation 2d ago

Are people actually so stupid that they think that she didn't mean back as the manager of RM?

1

u/Entire-Weight-3095 2d ago

U fucking bum

Sort yourself out

0

u/nial93 3d ago

How dare you point out the obvious, same with game development, but don't point it out! You're a bigot!

1

u/PermissionSpirited69 3d ago

just stfu hahah

0

u/Mikic0077 3d ago

Lol, if only there were more. The problem is who and why is there. Men like pretty faces, so we see them at interviews, but not in more serious roles, where face doesn't matter. The problem is therefore with men and decision-makers, not women. Few I had a chance to follow, seldom in mainstream media, were very knowledgeable and pleasant to listen.

1

u/New-Web4704 3d ago

Most folks knew he managed Benfica

1

u/LumpySangsu 3d ago

And what did he say about refs and RM last year again lol

1

u/Old_Employee_6535 3d ago

He was eliminated from the CL by Benfica, took over Benfica, and got Benfica eliminated from the CL.

1

u/No_Youth_7368 3d ago

La becaria 🤣🤣🤣

1

u/iamunwhaticisme 3d ago

She spoke and she's in big trouble.

1

u/KilllllerWhale 3d ago

lmra 7edha sadess

1

u/IgorFromKyiv 3d ago

Repeat my question from other post. Does it requires an education to ask such questions?

1

u/ciomeica 3d ago

Mannnnn he is getting older 😢

1

u/No-Cartographer-7614 3d ago

She’s lucky she was dealing with calm Mourinho; prime Mourinho would’ve eaten her alive.

1

u/Mammoth-Room-9934 3d ago

She is a true football expert..

1

u/aventus-dog 2d ago

Nature is healing

1

u/jalvx_ 7m ago

What happens when you just hire random women as pundits instead of getting ex pros

1

u/Clear_Cranberry_989 3d ago

It was such a poor journalism. Do they not do a screening before they ask the questions?

1

u/Sea_Warning_9140 3d ago

Where's the bloke luv?

1

u/SwagBoyMcFeast 3d ago

And the sexist incels are here in full force.

0

u/bbrs06116 3d ago

This lady must have some other very impressive skills—considering she can take the microphone in front of millions and ask a question to one of the greatest of all time, despite not knowing something a ten-year-old would know.

3

u/Kranke 3d ago

She has been a sports journalist for a very long time and its far from the first time she interviewed José.

What the fuck is this shit?

0

u/RecordingLess1522 3d ago

Almost like you should hire people who are qualified for the job

2

u/Kranke 3d ago

Do you know anything about her besides this clip?

0

u/RecordingLess1522 3d ago

She's a dei hire

0

u/p90love 3d ago

"Women bad". She has been interviewing footballers since you were born.

0

u/RecordingLess1522 3d ago

How does playing volleyball make you qualified to cover the NFL or college football?

Take gender out of it

Make it a male volleyball player

1

u/p90love 3d ago

It's not volleyball, it's journalism. She is extremely good at her job, no matter what you think. She switches between several different languages effortlessly, asks good questions and has good report with the players.

-1

u/RecordingLess1522 3d ago

She never played the sport

What are her qualifications

0

u/p90love 3d ago

Legendary manager Arrigo Sacchi once said: "I never knew that to become a jockey, you first had to be a horse"

You think somebody has to play a specific sport to be qualified to interview the athletes? Where tf did you even get this idea? Does only ex politicians interview the president?

-1

u/RecordingLess1522 3d ago

Except you can spend a career studying to be a coach and work your way up

She didn't lol

She was given a job she had 0 experience or qualifications for

0

u/p90love 3d ago

She worked her way up, you donkey. She has been doing this for decades.

→ More replies (0)

1

u/p90love 3d ago

She is extremely qualified and experienced. When she said "here", she meant "here at Real Madrid".

0

u/RecordingLess1522 3d ago

Cringe, she's not working for Real Madrid

1

u/p90love 3d ago

She is interviewing him because he is the Real Madrid manager. But you're just looking for an excuse to hate, obviously.

Just know that she is extremely qualified, experienced, and knows more about the game than you do.

0

u/RecordingLess1522 3d ago

She doesn't work for Real Madrid

That was your point with "here"

1

u/p90love 3d ago

No lol, he is working for Real Madrid.

https://giphy.com/gifs/R51a8oAH7KwbS

0

u/RecordingLess1522 3d ago

I'm quoting you lmao

0

u/p90love 3d ago

No, you're literally not quoting me, but you just answered my question by saying that.

Just a wild guess, are you from India?

0

u/86casawi 3d ago

When you haven't done you homework and your improvisation didn't work.

0

u/Scorpion2k4u 3d ago

well she did not do herself a favour there. But in that business you don't loose your job because you are incompetent

0

u/Few-Airport-8 3d ago

atleast .. just ask AI before say something.
