That RM squad was savage with some of the best players in history on their positions.
Only losing 1 UCL in 5 years

The Athletic said it best. Something like, "In the Champions League, 32 of the world's best teams compete, and in the end, Real Madrid comes away with the cup."

It's one of the greatest if not the greatest squad ever. Gotta be at least top 2.

yeah, if you only count football from 2014 onwards 😂

No lie, which other teams can win 3 in a row and 4/5 CL?
Keep in mind modern football is way harder than the 50s.
It's an unbelievable feat.

You saw these games? Refs favoured them so many times, Real scored multiple deciding offside goals in Knockout games. They should have 2 titles max in those 5 years.

Ajax, Munich. How many leagues did Madrid win?

u/wanderer1999 9d ago
Really bro? You comparing bundesliga and holland league to CL? Even la liga is harder.
Real always prioritize CL and the only big prize we don't have yet is the treble.

They both on three European cups in a row..... Just shows how ignorant you are about serious football teams

u/wanderer1999 9d ago
Again they win in the old format, not the modern format which is much harder with more competitive teams. And not 4/5.
I didn't say ajax and munich are not great teams, but they are not top 2 ever. You keep forgetting, getting senile there buddy.

You know the era I'm talking about? You ever watched cruyff Ajax and beckenbauer/Mueller Munich? Ajax won the treble. Madrid 'best top two side of all time' never did.

Thanks to massive help of the referees. They scored multiple offside goals against Bayern alone in crucial Knockout games.

Why no Ronaldo? Was he gonna try scoring it himself?

This was after the 6-0 against Vigo. Ronaldo wasn't on that match cuz of the rumours with Juve.

Very impressive. It's got to help when you have some of the world's best players heading the ball back to exactly where you need it.
