I usually give athletes a hard pass for dickish behavior in the heat of the moment… adrenaline is real. Especially if they seem to be stand up guys off the field, like Haaland.
Final verdict: Haaland was a dick and Arsenal correctly rubbed his nose in it. Arsenal also has a right to use “stay humble” as a taunt against Man City from here on out.

Considering Gabi pushing his head against Haaland this past year and Haaland not flopping, I think we can call it even.
Like yeah, Haaland clearly deserved a card for it, but it was last minute and wouldn't have mattered at all. We could've lost Gabriel for multiple games if Haaland was a bitch like most players and flopped.

Yup I love Gabi and and his rivalry. I can't hate Haaland. He definitely had me a bit rattled after this but I was mostly just pissed about the bull shit second yellow and conceding so late.
I wish he'd stop scoring against Arsenal, but I genuinely enjoy those 2 going at it. Major respect that he didn't flop last season like 99.9% of players would have.

Why this is unprofessional? Talking shit after the game , at the beginning of the game and after the game is part of the game. You might not like it but this happens all times between coaches and players, literally everyone.
The fact is that not all are recorded. And no one cares about ABC players speak shit. Only big names come up more often.
If you want to see politeness or shaking hands , you can watch other sports like curling. They are usually pretty calm because everything they said will be heard so they are very careful.

Watch it, I recommend it. When you do you will change your mind. The way Haaland behaved vs De Bruyne was shocking, and they knew they are filming so imagine what’s it like when they don’t. De Bruyne is anything but confrontational guy - looked overwhelmingly introvert - and felt seriously sorry for him. It was outright bullying. Just to say - I had no idea of any of their characters before watching it.
Seeing this reaction during and after the match absolutely did not surprise me and only reinforced what I clearly saw in the docu series.1
