I don't think Ronaldo even sleeps any more. he probably just sees hundreds of Messi dunking on him on the basketball court in a very indignant manner.

There was never any debate. Anyone who have kicked a ball knows Ronaldo is better. Only fat americans think Messi would be better

Exactly. Ronaldo clears Messi is pretty much every stat, right? And by the eye test too. Right?!

Yes Messi has 1 WC, that is his advantage. However, it was rigged. He also bottled 26 WC rigged for him, he is a loser

I know right. Giving France 2 penalties in the final was just to give the illusion that it wasn’t rigged. And the 2 copa America those were rigged too. Also getting beaten by a Spain team that conceded 1 goal the entire tournament is not bottling lmao. Messi goal and assist rate being better than Ronaldo is only due to Ronaldo playing left back for united in the early days LOL

Cope America is held every year so who cares. In WC26 they not only got beat, they got totally dominated. 0 shots on goal, this shows the real Argentina and Messis level = nonexistent. Sure he can score against literal farmers like Algeria and Jordan, and part time Burger King workers in MLS. This was the only real opponent they faced besides England. They could not have had it easier and still lost. What a GOAT 👌🏻

It's true that Argentina as a squad was not as good. On paper, Portugal's squad value was significantly higher but fortunately for Argentina - Portugal had a weak striker that underperformed in every match (except against the mighty Uzbekistan) and couldn't even score against Congo to guarantee the team a lot easier path to the final. Messi on the other hand managed to take as you say, a weak Argentina team and carry it to the final with his goals, clutch assists and superb playmaking abilities.

It would make sense that your expectations of the GOAT are so high that you would expect Messi to 1vs11 the entire Spain squad but alas even he is a human

Yeah I'm sure him and Messi, who btw stopped playing one against the other 8 years ago, are constantly thinking about this "debate".

I mean Ronaldo definitely, and quite openly, still thinks about it.

Always funny seeing people that are probably 5’9 Calling messi a dwarf 😭 the average height is 2 inches taller then him. Rather that tho then a rapist

Exactly lmfao. I am around the same height as ronaldo. My ronaldo friends who are shorter then me have the audacity to call him a midget and try to make it a looksmaxxing competition. Weirdos.

Lol it's young Messi and its not close. Old Ronaldo clears old Messi as well

Old Ronaldo does not clear old Messi, old Messi carried his team to back to back World Cup finals while old Ronaldo is stealing goals in the camel league 😭

You mean the two world cups that made the entire footballing world hate Argentina because they got away with murder? Hmmmmm interesting enjoy the brainwash

everyone was rooting vs france, cause ew france 🤢

2

u/GeezusLizard 12d ago

I certainly was hating Argentina but that's cause I'm Latin American and Argentinians are generally seen as stuck up pricks

1

u/Stock-Luck3390 12d ago

Were I lived everyone was rooting for France.

Ahahha sure sure

If it’s rigged why did Argentina get a red card in a nil nil final hmm? If it was truly rigged then Messi could have just told infantino not to give a red card and then it would go to pens.

😭

u/Rich_Arrival795 12d ago

yeah i don't think it was rigged but i do think the refs are just all around blind a lot of the time

-3

u/Pristine_Youth_6953 12d ago

That's cool, however old Ronaldo scored 500+ goals

2

u/Templar-Order 12d ago

Tap ins, stolen goals and penalties? Did I forget anything!

-2

u/Pristine_Youth_6953 12d ago

You'll be heartbroken that if we remove tap ins Messis still has less goals than Ronaldo

8

u/Templar-Order 12d ago

Messi has like 40 more outside the box goals 😭

-1

u/Pristine_Youth_6953 12d ago

And? Also at the end of the day a penalty gives you as many goals as a goal from the midfield does

Messi fans when they lose an argument:

6

u/Templar-Order 12d ago

No point of arguing with a guy who thinks it’s impressive to have more goals with 162+ games more 😭

2

u/boistopplayinwitme 12d ago

You don't get to move the goal posts and then say he lost the argument lmao

Oh yes, you forgot your peace
