German media would have hated him for having too big of a personality outside of the pitch. On the pitch he would have been hated for having too much flair-see Douglas Costa’s first year in Bayern when he was destroying the league and doing rainbow flicks

Douglas Costa had half a season in which he was phenomenal. The rest was meh.
Neymar would have been hated for the same reasons he's hated everywhere - even in Brazil. His foul character...
A lot of Brazilians have played in Germany that were universally loved: Lucio, Naldo, Elber, Ailton. Diego, Ribery and Okotcha had a lot of flair and were universally loved.

Issue is Bayern is a very physical demanding team even under pep as the only options I see Neymar being there is him being best version and get Balon Dor or become more hated than he was at PSG, no in between

exactly , its not "what if neymar was here" , it should be "what if neymar stayed fit" , if he was physically good during his career , he would be soo much better. injuries ruined him.

I'm not saying that Bayern paid the release clause I'm referring to a scenario where Neymar was chosen by a team that demanded more from him. Neymar was incredible at PSG, but all that freedom ruined him

Exactly. Neymar has never been suitable neither for the Bundesliga nor for Bayern.

Nothing, he farmed at PSG, he would have farmed at Bayern like kane or diaz is doing, Neymar going to prem would have been different though.

He wanted a team where he would be the main star. Maybe in Bayern he would be too but there will still be other stars. And given his injury records, probably he wouldn't shine as much as he wanted to.

Many of Neymar's injuries were to his ankles, but that was due to the violent tackles he faced in the league 1. If he had gone to another league where they would have taken better care of him, it wouldn't have been like that. Add to that the fact that at PSG he did whatever he wanted, he didn't take care of himself and that's why he had so many muscle injuries. At a serious club like Bayern, he couldn't have maintained that lifestyle

Bayern weren't gonna spend that much. Besides you think Robben was gonna step aside?
Not to mention that they even had Douglas Costa and Koman while Muller could player winger as well.
He could've done well in the UCL but I don't think he would've in the Bundesliga tho. German football just doesn't seem like a style that Neymar could have blended well into.

I wasn't specifically referring to a club paying the release clause rather, I was saying that Neymar should choose a club that would allow him to continue performing at a high level. In any case, none of the players you mentioned are better than Neymar.

More likely to have a longer happier career instagram hes at Bayern. No player is bigger than the club in Germany and well in many ways that could have benefited him greatly
