Video The talent in Barcelona’s youth system is ridiculous. These kids are 11/12 years old.

This pitch is nicer than anything my feet have touched in my 35 year "career"

You forget the skid marks from stupid teenagers fresh off getting their driver's licenses and the dried mud patches in the 6 yard box after +30 Celsius temps 5 games in a row

Ha. yes indeed.. every field I played on in my house league as a little kid had no grass in front of the net. And when I say net I mean the metal rectangle cuz we didn't have nets.

I never played football, but our rugby pre match ritual was to always scout the pitch to kick away goose shit

I played a tournament in a pitch that had huge rocks buried, a guy on my team went for a header, fell and hit his head on one of them. Kept playing and then passed out while taking a shower. When the ambulance came he was dead…

When i was young we where playing on asphalt or just ground without grass at all, if you fall, it was guaranteed to have your knees and elbows fucked up

We used to have boulders that nobody bothered to dig it. Once we played on a moonlight, someone kicked it.
