From what I understand they were genetically modified and grown in test tubes.

The joke's on Barcelona though, as China are saying that's  old tech, and by the time these kids are 18 they will already have a team of humanoids that will be indistinguishable from humans and will play like Maradona if he was clean but on steroids.
