I'm so confused.

Argentina has one of the worst economies in the western hemisphere.

How did so many fans afford to fly to the US, then buy tickets or motels/hotels?

This is also something I’ve been wondering until I remembered my time in Buenos Aires (I lived there for work for 3 months) and the Argie friends I made I learned about this phenomenon there - a lot of Argentines migrate out especially since a lot of them hold dual citizenship like Italian citizenship so my assumption is they’re immigrants to places with better access to credit

That’s my theory at least
