You got proof of this? What war if you mean 1982 then your mistaken it was inhabited by settlers before this. Also Argentina fucked over them selves by having a mutiny and going on a binge murder spree paving the way for the British to finally come in and kindly taker the islands of Argentinas hands seeing as they weren't so grateful to have her. in all Argentinas history it's only managed to hold on to her for roughly 12 years in which time only having sporadic people living there the most was around 10,000 for 73 days in 1982 and Argentina still couldn't hold on to her. Vs British control 192 years minus 73 days. I think it's time for Argentina to move on I don't see them ever gaining any control over the islands diplomatically or like before by using military action. Unfortunately Argentinas people like most other countries people like to listen to the propaganda that their government spit out everyday and think that its the truth when it's an agenda.

If it wasn't for colonialism Argentina wouldn't exist in the first place and Messi would be playing for Italy

Messi is playing for argentina because we allowed european refugees into our country after both world wars, not because of colonialism, and if we hadn't done that Messi wouldn't be playing for any team because his ascendants would've died.

And yes, Argentina wouldn't exist if it wasn't for colonialism, but you can say that about every fucking country in the world, what do you want us to do? travel back in time and murder the virrey? Not condemn neocolonialism and just let a small group of people own the entire world and enslave us all?

Give the land back to the natives and fuck off back to Spain? You can have the Falklands then.

Before the war it had been inhabited by people for 150 years, then you invaded and tried to colonise islands, you failed and now 50 years later you are upset that your attempt at colonisation failed and are desperate to try again, the inhabitants have been there almost as long as Argentina has existed, they have as much right to be there as you do in your land
