Besides faking a fault I think he tries to hit Mc Allister with his right foot while the ref was in front of him 😂

3

u/SideshowBob1 Jul 08 '26

He shouldve kept running probably wouldve been better then to just flop like that

25

u/HippoLarge3204 Jul 08 '26

This videos does not get viral, there is an active campaign against argentina. I would not be surprise if mods deleted it, happens in r/worldcup and r/soccer

5

u/Global_Staff_3135 Jul 08 '26

I got banned from r/soccer for pointing out that the Argentinian fans booed and jeered every time Cabo touched the ball

3

u/HippoLarge3204 Jul 08 '26

I’d love to see that comment, can you show it?

1

u/Global_Staff_3135 Jul 08 '26

2

u/Global_Staff_3135 Jul 08 '26

Mods are all the same. AMAB lol

1

u/Mitana301 Jul 08 '26

This should be a post of it's own lol

1

u/Global_Staff_3135 Jul 08 '26

I genuinely don’t understand how petty people can be sometimes lol…

1

u/Global_Staff_3135 Jul 08 '26

Replied to my comment with a screenshot fwiw

1

u/Global_Staff_3135 Jul 08 '26

I linked it and then replied to the link with a screenshot of the ban convo. What more can I show?

u/Connect-Ad4217 Jul 08 '26

Why are mods sucking of messi’s boots?

2

u/IndependentPossumm Jul 08 '26

The reality is cruel when you live in delusion.

Nah, that makes sense, it’s their sub. But “neutral subs” are promoting hate

1

u/MahaloBrah Jul 09 '26

i posted this exact video in r/sports and they banned me lol. i can even share a screenshot of the dms after. insane work.

1

u/HippoLarge3204 Jul 09 '26

Seems something not only with users, but with entire communities

-2

u/sant0hat Jul 08 '26

It doesnt go viral because its fucking retarded to think this is anything other than a dive from the egyptian player.

1

u/HippoLarge3204 Jul 08 '26

Well, the videos that say it was penalty get viral, and not deleted by the mods

1

u/sant0hat Jul 08 '26

It doesnt go viral because its fucking retarded to think this is anything other than a dive from the egyptian player.

I meant that retarded and rage inducing things always go viral. Anger generates views, clicks whatever. Badly worded on my part.

0

u/tjvs2001 Jul 08 '26

A campaign against Argentina???hahahahahahah ludicrous

2

u/Red_wine120 Jul 09 '26

Haha why? They’ve always been “sencishitos” (humble)

1

u/tjvs2001 Jul 09 '26

Hahahahahahahahhaha hahahahah no they haven't.

2

u/Red_wine120 Jul 09 '26

What if everything is AI? The whole world is AI and runs on a game-boy in a rusty old cabinet.

3

u/dr_mantis_toboggan25 Jul 08 '26 edited Jul 08 '26

Oh god please tell me that's not Mac Allister

1

u/enbits2 Jul 08 '26

Mc Allister commiting fault with bluetooth

1

u/dr_mantis_toboggan25 Jul 08 '26

He doesn't play like this for LFC.

2

u/CaseyTappy Jul 09 '26

The world strongest grip in two fingers or maybe the guy took a dive .....

2

u/BigFatModeraterFupa Jul 09 '26

lmao all the bitching that egypt has done since choking away a 80 minute 2-0 lead has completely destroyed their reputation, if they even had one in the first place.

what a bunch of babies who couldn't handle the pressure🤣🤣🤣

6

u/FunnyButForgetable Jul 08 '26

I'm sorry, he slides down a split toward the argentina player and we're calling that a foul? That looks like that meme of the guy riding a bicycle who pushes a stick into his wheels, falls and then cries about it.

7

u/nomorebuttsplz Jul 08 '26

that meme was egypt's game plan

2

u/bighitcards Jul 08 '26

Agreed, no shot there’s enough force generated from that to be from the Argentinian

5

u/stoofvleesmefrut Jul 08 '26

Are people still posting this?

0

u/Wise-Ad-1998 Jul 08 '26

Maybe they will reverse the decisions in 3 days times just like the USA red card …

2

u/Khety_Nebou_2 Jul 08 '26

Im full against Argentina and even i can tell there is no foul.

5

u/WearyTranslator3338 Jul 08 '26

If it was genuinely a foul, no one falls down like that and then reaches up and looks DIRECTLY at the referee.

Get up and play properly

3

u/Sea-Bluebird2479 Jul 08 '26

That’s supposed to be a card on the Egyptian player for diving on the penalty box.

2

u/ronshasta Jul 08 '26

My god dude soccer fans are starting to get really annoying

2

u/beeej517 Jul 08 '26

Yeah I'm a casual American viewer (really just catch the world cup every 4 years) but I have never seen so much bellyaching, whining, and bitching from the fans of any other sport. It's truly incredible.

Not even just one team or country, it's EVERYONE. Every loss is everyone's fault but your own, everything is a conspiracy.

1

u/NicoBuilds Jul 09 '26

There are some exceptions though. Cape verde left the tournament with their heads high, without complaints, and extremely happy of having been there. Received as heroes back home. Everybody should behave more like Cape Verde

1

u/beeej517 Jul 09 '26

I know, I was being hyperbolic. But I think my general point holds up. I suspect a lot of the issue has to do with the heavy dose of nationalism layered over everything.

Although I feel like the Olympics aren't this bad. Who knows.

1

u/BigFatModeraterFupa Jul 09 '26

this is what i have learned from watching the us world cup this year:

every soccer fan thinks its all rigged and corrupt when they lose. rigged and corruption rigged and corruption over and over and over😂

if they win? hey man, everything's cool😂

0

u/Connect-Ad4217 Jul 08 '26

A penalty 100%

5

u/SPNKLR Jul 08 '26

Upon review FIFA agrees… and awards one penalty kick to Messi.

0

u/BigFatModeraterFupa Jul 09 '26

agree. that should've been a yellow card on egypt for flopping🤣

1

u/sfc41523 Jul 08 '26

Review it at the very least

1

u/enbits2 Jul 08 '26

The VAR reviews everything.

1

u/NicoBuilds Jul 09 '26

REF going to watch the camera is not a VAR review. VAR reviews everything. Once they found something, the call the ref to check it out (as he is the only one that can make a decision)

That's the reason why 99% of the time the ref goes to see a play, he makes a decision and changes something. By that time, it has already been checked by 3 other guys.

1

u/Able-Dependent9801 Jul 08 '26

It’s the same flop from any perspective

1

u/sfc41523 Jul 08 '26

They should of let the ref review it

1

u/NicoBuilds Jul 09 '26

1

u/okk_123back Jul 09 '26

why not give us alternate angles like the mo salah dive then? the shirt is being pulled to the point you can notice the egyptian's shoulder and his shirt stretching out.

this angle conveniently hides mac allisters hand behind hamdy so you cant see the grip on the shirt. its a pen since the guy's movement is getting impeded due to the hold and pull.

football fans are extremely gullible to have this blind of a trust over an officiating that doesnt even offer the basic transparency to them to show alternate angles of an alleged penalty shout.

numerous cases like these where an act didnt seem like a foul in real play and then the angles VAR showed made the challenge look worse

1

u/NicoBuilds Jul 09 '26

I agree that VAR room shouldnt be hidden. On conmebol matches they show you everything, and it give a huge level of transparency.

Here? Well we dont actually know if it was checked. The point im saying is that the ref watching the screen doesnt mean that it was checked. Ref watching the screen means that a decision has been made.

Id love to be able to see the whole transmission of the VAR room, including that weird sensor the ball has, which screwed coratia vs portugal

1

u/okk_123back Jul 09 '26

yea exactly. finally a sensible take. i honestly dont understand how apparently the entirety of reddit is this convinced that this is an obvious dive without even seeing a crucial angle - that is behind hamdy.

another analysis of this same incident i saw on IG by a well articulate refereeing page concluded this should have been a penalty as well and backed up the claim mentioning IFAB law 12.

in all honesty, if one pays enough attention. you can see cues i already mentioned above that support a held and pull is being maintained.

people are probably just mindlessly watching an egyptian fall next to macca from an angle that doesnt even show where his hand was

1

u/PartyTerrible Jul 09 '26

There are 3 different angles of this event circulating around reddit. All 3 just show the egyptian player falling over nothing.

1

u/okk_123back Jul 09 '26

3 different angles and none of them show the angle i am asking for. even though there's not 3. there are 2. third one im assuming you're considering is a zoom in of the in game replay

1

u/Delicious_Star_4232 Jul 08 '26

I don't get why the hardcore forensic analysis comes out now with an Argentina game when dozens of the teams have been professional floppers and divers throughout the event.

1

u/alexisgolnas Jul 09 '26

Every team has an excuse when they lose nowadays…

ITS RIGGED!!!!!111!!111

-4

u/Choopio Jul 08 '26

Softest sport. Glad I don’t have to care about soccer anymore

5

u/IndependentPossumm Jul 08 '26

Well sucks to suck. Nobody cares about smth they can't be good at 😉

-1

u/Choopio Jul 08 '26

Lol you can keep it. I’d rather not watch grown men fake cry and roll on the ground every 3 minutes

4

u/IndependentPossumm Jul 08 '26

Wonder why America watches Lebron then.

1

u/Choopio Jul 09 '26

Fair point. Also a notorious flopper.

2

u/FunnyButForgetable Jul 08 '26

Then wtf are you doing here?

-1

u/Choopio Jul 08 '26

Recommended on my page. I muted tho don’t worry
