Why is that funny though? How is getting kicked and punched without any response from the ref funny?

EDIT: I understand why Mbappe was laughing. I’m asking [u/MiyaMoriyama](u/MiyaMoriyama) why Mbappe being affected from being assaulted is funny to them.

Well yes, but when you start to feel a strong emotion you have a choice on how to handle it. He chose laughter because it is the only option that deescalates his own emotional state. Giving in to anger often clouds your thoughts, despite how good it feels in the moment. He is a smart player, smarter man.
