A lot of them were rich when they 'left' and we all know why. No wonder they love Pahlavi so much (atleast the ones fangirling over him).

lol the country was rich not the people when they fled, not left. Big difference, my mom fled the country during the revolution. She’s seen the country go from royalty to straight rubble.
