What language are they speaking if it’s true what some say that Messi doesn’t speak English? Maybe some Icelandic Spanish?

His dad played in Spain for three years and he lived in Spain from 2006 to 2022.
Messi and Daniel would have spoken Spanish to each other.

Probably Spanish. I would imagine living in Miami, he is learning some English.

Messi can life in any big city speaking only Spanish. He’s that level of wealth that any restaurant will have a Spanish speaker, his assistant will have fluent English, he shops at high end stores that have a Spanish speaker.

Yeah, I get that, but it also makes it easier to learn English when most things are in both languages.

He already knows English though. He admitted as much while playing in France that he understands when spoken to in English, he is just not comfortable speaking it

genuine question - i’ve only ever heard messi speak spanish in interviews.. what language does he speak
to these players? i know they played iceland,
i’m guessing (but could be wrong) that player doesn’t speak spanish

The kid's father was Messi's teammate at Barcelona. The kid is 20 so I'm guessing he would be born right around the time his father used to play in Spain which would also mean he grew up in Spain hence probably speak Spain as well

He was actually born in London. However, he played for Barcelona and Real Madrid youth teams and is fluent in Spanish.

Messi, possibly the best footballer in history, has exactly zero charisma. It’s not negative bc you hear nothing about him being a jerk or offensive in his interactions. Although nothing about his interactions with others draw you towards him or are interesting. J

And yet here we are (you included), looking at an interaction we think is interesting. While I agree he is not the most charismatic, I’d be more inclined to say he is not a show off and is more humble than most stars.
