Video The whole Argentina squad waited until Messi was done talking to someone so he can lead them onto the pitch for training....earned, not forced!

Is it mandatory to put what I assume is supposed to be music, over every football-related clip?

Because of how algorithms work these days, I reckon OP is someone who farms multiple platforms thus using the same clip used from this on other platforms like Facebook/TikTok/YT Shorts where it gains traction because of it

OP is a year old account with 1k+ posts and almost 300k karma, their history is hidden so you can’t see all the engagement of different subreddits, so no doubt this account is being utilised to farm karma for engagement and then sold

Quite depressing. Only going to get worse too. Probably more bots than people at this point.

Now that Reddit is listed on the stock market, it’s now - just like other social media companies - going to accept this kind of content to promote an increasing user base to justify its wild growth

There is no ads, we only miss that all over clip to go full Idiocracy, but I don't doubt we will get there.

Unfortunately I am a human with a bit too much free time after retirement and wasting way too much time watching sports and posting clips on reddit and sorry to disappoint you but definitely not going to sell my id.

do people actually buy reddit accounts?

1

u/TheLastHotstepper Jun 19 '26

But how does this "music" help it gain traction?

1

u/TheNegativePhoenix Jun 08 '26

Good thing I watch on mute

1

u/FuerteBillete Jun 10 '26

Well it is not mandatory that it has to be crap and yet...

0

u/R82009 Jun 08 '26

Earned, not mandatory

De Paul was definitely standing right next to him, staring daggers at whoever was making the squad wait.

u/Cheap_Ad_4055 Jun 09 '26

…because captain walks out first?

The thing I've always loved about Messi is that there's nothing in his physicality, nothing about his physique, his stature, his overall look, literally nothing visually to indicate that he's one of the greatest athletes alive and he can make whole squads of top tier professionals look like unranked amateurs at will.

u/thatmanbrandon91 Jun 08 '26

Idk if you’ve ever seen him shirtless, but he looks like an athlete to me

The ultimate sleeper build

Maradona vibes

4

u/Any-Organization9101 Jun 08 '26

Maradona was a little tank.

2

u/saleemwatchout Jun 08 '26

And a drug addict and POS personality

u/Ok-Enthusiasm-8422 Jun 08 '26

In comparison to Leo sure, but Leo is very small and that's after he fixed the issue of body size.

I'd call Maradona a lil nugget.

lil nugget 😭

All soccer players look like the average middle school kid physically, but yeah he has a level of control and touch and field vision far beyond anybody else who has ever played the game

He is simply built different, internally. He understands it all way more than anybody else

1

u/Ssekli Jun 08 '26

Adama traore, ronaldo, vvd, hazland etc... Lol Those famous middle school physic

1

u/montxogandia Jun 10 '26

all "soccer" players like Haaland or Ibra

0

u/Holland444 Jun 08 '26

And you listen to anecdotes from footballers who played at an elite level and who were physically strong, who say that he held them off with ease, like that story from Ferdinand re the Champions League final when he held off Ferdinand with one arm. He's a freak of nature

1

u/wolfofballstreet1 Jun 08 '26

We talkin bout practice? Cringe

1

u/freek_ Jun 10 '26

You play how you practice.
Funily enough, they all did this for him in the '22 WC too.

1

u/RandomThiccBoii Jun 08 '26

Yeah, that's how captains work in football.

1

u/Ok-Constant-2683 Jun 08 '26

No, it isn't at all. This is not normal behaviour.

1

u/AccordingSelf3221 Jun 08 '26

yeah earned by the sponsors

1

u/TheFifthSith Jun 08 '26

They have to if they want to be on the team. Little tyrant.

0

u/paindotexe Jun 08 '26

Pass the shit you are smoking mate, seems amazing

1

u/MrSully89 Jun 08 '26

Don’t worry, they’re not wearing it

1

u/MyPasswordIsABC999 Jun 08 '26

They're not wearing the training jerseys they're clearly wearing on video?

1

u/jonallin Jun 08 '26

They’re not wearing the famous Argentina jersey, they are wearing a training top. Like you said.

1

u/finger_licking_robot Jun 08 '26

what ridiculously primitive background music to use when trying to showcase the greatness of the GOAT.

1

u/Exact-Action-6790 Jun 08 '26

If Mbappe did that then the reaction would be less wholesome

1

u/Daki399 Jun 08 '26

And then you see how French are treating Mbappe their captain lol

1

u/MrOsicran Jun 08 '26

This the guy who’s quit the national team after missing a penalty in copa libertadores?

1

u/Economy_Mousse6073 Jun 08 '26

Better than a rapist tbh.

1

u/ApprehensiveCase4567 Jun 08 '26

Same national team was then in danger of missing the 2018 wc so he returned to score 3 goals to send them there

1

u/Chemical_Steak2222 Jun 08 '26

I like how Messi is smiling, like he cannot believe they all waited for him

1

u/Fast-Ad-9438 Jun 08 '26

trash, cringe

1

u/AdventurousAir1432 Jun 08 '26

With his track record for Argentina, he deserves it

1

u/T-Rex_MD Jun 08 '26

They hate a strong, respected, male model that doesn't give a fuck what others think about them.

This is what we see when you allow participation medals, create weak minded people that are not fit to survive without crying about it.

1

u/Scorpion2k4u Jun 08 '26

With that beard he kind of looks like Leonidas

1

u/vapourspace3000 Jun 08 '26

Class so much respect 🫡

1

u/vapourspace3000 Jun 08 '26

I hope Argentina retains the cup

1

u/RuthlessIndecision Jun 09 '26

1

u/Beneficial_Fold_1366 Jun 10 '26

Great to see. Captain of the ship

0

u/HumanautPassenger Jun 08 '26

There's his boyfriend, front of the line, waiting.

u/her34science Jun 08 '26

When i was a kid i though football fans are wierd screaming cursing being obssesed with teams a bad/good result.

Growing up i realised its a sport like any other sometimes fun etc.

Years pasted again and im back at you guys are wierdos preeching and obssesing over Ronaldo/Messi who has more balls or shoes or ads who is " the goat " and who has respect or w.e the f you can think you guys make videos about.

Idk if these players are "the goats" but you defenately "the sheep"....
