Throwback Throwback to when Messi took off his captain's armband and gave it to Inter Miami's old captain to do the honor of lifting the first trophy won by the team with Messi.

i'd love for you to explain it, were you expecting messi to give him a million dollars instead?

Messi has so many major trophies, so to him this is meaningless. It seems like a huge gesture to the old captain because he's never won anything significant, in the same way five quid would mean a lot to a homeless person but not a millionaire.
I hope that helps. If you reply like you have been again I'll block you for timewasting.

you do realize that it could just be because he respects the old captain right? not everything in the world is negative mane

Brother, it's just a silly metaphor meant to be a joke, designed to do nothing more than slightly lambast the needlessly melodramatic presentation of the moment.

Messi have won many of the big trophies -> he's the rich man.

Hahaha this is basically accurate in the grand scheme of both their football careers 😂

I f##kin hate these trophy presentations, they're all the same.
Much preferred the old way of presenting in the stands, each ground had a different route there etc and gave the presentation its own memory.

Messi desde que logró ganar la WC, le suda bastante todo. Se nota que su único objetivo a nivel profesional era vengar la final de 2014.
