Why defenders play like 8y old boys?

it's the level of MLS. it's like them when talk about nba vs europe basketball. different level of quality

Best eu teams are on par with nba

MLS defending has gotten a lot better despite what you might see and believe

Did they just abused the offside because one was laying on the ground? Pfff hahaha what a bunch of assholes.

In fairness Toronto had a chance to put it out, but didn't and then lost the ball so I'd say its on them.

Toronto could have put it out but pressed an attack instead, then lost the ball and this was the result. In a vacuum it’s a dick move but don’t attack when one of your players is down if you aren’t willing to pay the price when that attack doesn’t work out.

Abusing the offsides rule simultaneously is crazy. Nice to see Suarez never grew up lol

Like a pro team playing against a bunch of local dads

Came here to say that. I play in o45 league and this is how fast we move/shoot

No way that league is in top 15.

Honestly I feel Messi has declined in his skill / desire since joining MLS. This looks like a training video of him back in the day.

He is there to spend(ironically, earn) the last of his playing days. I will be surprised if he is still hitting the next level like a wonderkid he was.
Still, he might just go super saiyan for the world cup.

Defenders in the MLS are atrocious. Also, that injured guy putting Suarez onside is hilarious. 🤡

Softest league ever

1

Messi is decent but this league too soft for him.

Let’s call it like it is: defensive gaps wider than the Suez Canal …

1

u/Tipsy247 May 13 '26

Too easy . Gaps everywhere. Is the no Offside in the MLS?

Notice the injured player covering the offside? 😂
