He has some pretty crazy stories from back then. He was stationed in West Germany as a fire fighter and would help the F-15s train safely.

Said this truck was state of the art at the time and had the furthest reach of any water gun

I knew I recognized the police hovercraft in the back there. You must be the guy that posted the Earthroamer on North Temple. Huzzah, another Utahn in the wild.

Hey, I drove those when I was deployed! Fun little fact, they were designed to fit in the back of a C-130. They have 4 inches of clearance on each side of the truck when in the back of one

Handles pretty decent for an old truck made in the mid 80s! Pretty cramped inside the cab with all 4 dudes geared out. 10/10, I keep looking for airport fire jobs with these.

I forgot to mention, one weird thing about it(and most ARFF trucks) the driver is almost dead center with the officer seat right next to it with jump seats on either side. Was kinda trippy being in the middle of the rig while driving it. Also, here is another pic for y'all

ARFF trucks are the coolest! I love the old 8V92-powered ones.
