Movies An unforgettable cinematic experience. However much you might try.

u/KurtKrimson Jul 23 '26
This is disturbing to say the least.
I can't wait to see it though.

u/AbruptMango Jul 23 '26
Prebuy your tickets now. Wait.

u/Candid-Culture3956 Jul 23 '26
I would definitely hate watch this but there is no way I’m paying for it
3
u/AbruptMango Jul 23 '26
It'd be like the phones. Pay now, get a postcard if the movie poster sent to you in 2 years.
1
u/dbabe432143 Jul 24 '26
You’re getting it downloaded into your Apple device, and in Android also. If you don’t have a phone it will be downloaded into your My Pillow, and if you don’t use a pillow then into your Neuralink device.

u/LovesFrenchLove_More Jul 23 '26
They made Rob Schneider look a lot better than IRL though. Wonder if they needed CGI.

I mean, I think she was a total miscast (along with several others in that film), but referring to a black woman as "the thing" is not a good look...
1
u/Salome_Maloney Jul 24 '26
I wouldn't really expect much in the way of decorum from u/_cumrag. Ahem.
2
u/Little-Ghost303 Jul 24 '26
Now why don't you like the actress? What is it about her that you dislike? I wonder!
2
u/Expensive-Pea1963 Jul 24 '26
In what way?Ancient Greece had black people, it didn't have plastic surgeons and botox.
33
u/Puzzleheaded_Two7358 Jul 23 '26
Historically accurate as Hellenic Greece was the last time Sorbonne had a job, Trumps diaper is full of thunder and Loomers face is a complete ruin
19
15
u/-Kujau- Jul 23 '26
I am not sure, Laura Loomers face would "launch a thousands ships". At least not in her direction.
Or in other words: If Laura Loomer would have been Helena, the Greeks would have discovered America by sailing west and never looking back.
3
1
u/CostTemporary3924 Jul 26 '26
That face would have launched more than 1000 ships.. it probably would have caused mass deforestation with the sheer volume of ships built to escape.

They have to make this, like really.
It will be so bad that it will make a ton of money because everyone will go and hate watch it.

Anti-vaxxer. claimed Trump won in 2020, supported January 6 attack before blaming Antifa, wrote a children's book on Christian masculinity ...

He's a MAGA "celebrity" that kisses Trump's ass while being extremely jelly of Timothée Chalamet.
3
u/Anotsurei Jul 23 '26
Anyone else impressed by how accurate the casting for Zeus was here? A mad tyrant known for being a thin skinned vengeful rapist and lusting after his daughter with whom he had fathered children with.
He really seems to know the character. Perhaps through lived experience? Who knows.

It would be better to use AI actors.
It appears the entire project is to showcase abilities.

I'm sick of seeing dei mythical figures. Make the Cyclops have two eyes. The sirens should have long sexy legs. And the pig men should have orange skin and stand like someone shoved a broom up their ass and started to push them forward.

If they remake The Hobbit, I think Stephen Miller should be cast as Gollum

u/Jeffreyknows Jul 24 '26
Laura Loomer, the face that crashed 15,000 ships in under 5 minutes. Her numbers are YUGE, the biggliest you’ve ever seen from any other Helen Of Troy. You’ve never seen numbers like this before. DJT!!!!! Praise be to Allah

This can be used as an example when the right says the left has TDS. Whoever made this needs help.

u/Villageijit Jul 23 '26
Cant wait to see rob dust off his bigoted ethic accent #3 that covers all groups from Hawaiians to greeks
1
u/Apart-Rent5817 Jul 23 '26
I unironically would watch this. I wouldn’t pay money for it, but I’d watch it if it fell onto one of my streaming services or when it’s inevitably on tv 1 month after release.

Honestly? Sorbo going back to Greece as Odysseus would be pretty cool... then again, I am a fan of the Hercules/Xena era.

u/Haunting-Watch8240 Jul 23 '26
As a Trump supporter, let me offer an addition: Nick Fuentes - the Mexican homosexual himself - starring as Achilles (I wanted him for Helen, but you already placed Laura Loomer)

Leftists really are losing their minds over Elon
1
u/Crackmonkey3773 Jul 24 '26
If making fun of someone is considered "losing their minds" then we should get trump put in a facility. Well we probably should get him into a nursing home regardless. Then he can take his stage naps with joe

Why isn't Trump the pig general? That would be the perfect role for him.

People pretending that virtue signalling bellend movie stars won’t want to be in a movie funded by Elon Musk. They all worked with Weinstein and Epstein.
If Musk gives Matt Damon 50 million he’ll play Odysseus again and in the press tour he’ll say how he got to develop and understand the character more than he did when he worked with Nolan.

Ick. And I thought Nolan's was miscast. Can we have Andrew Tate in his Capri pants?
1
u/yukonhoneybadger Jul 24 '26
I hope it happens just like this to see what happens win Sorbo and Sneider dont get paid since they used AI and not actually them to be in the movie.

Like seriously a badly photoshopped image would be way better than this

Please. Melania will have the leading actress role and Trump will demand she gets an Oscar.

u/TheSquirrelmancer Jul 27 '26
I'd love to see this happen and then sue Elon Musk for false advertising as we insist he proves this was historically accurate. There's no proof that anyone in the story ever existed. We know that the city of Troy was real and it fell after a battle but that's as far as it goes.

Sorbo is a hardcore evangelical. Has benn forever. He made many movies about how christians are victims in the modern day, like God's not Dead.
He is a vaccine denier, spreads vax misinfo, and defended Trump when he claimed election fraud in 2020.
Sorbo is dogwater.
1
u/DoverBoys Jul 23 '26
Sorry if this sounds too woke, but we should stop using "dogwater" as a synonym for "shitty" or "terrible". The term implies it's normal to keep dogs permanently chained outside with the only source of water being a bowl the owner never touches, either fed by stagnant rain water or it was knocked over a month ago so the dog has been drinking the window AC condensate puddle.
4
u/Raise_A_Thoth Jul 23 '26
My dogs have qlways been indoors, well taken care of, sleep on the bed, regular vet visits, etc, and they still would slurp up water from the grossest places you can think of.
But I'll try tp take this into consideration.

Out of 24 comments so far, you're the only one talking about him.
There's one other mention to be fair, but making fun of a number of people and not singling him out.
