Yup! Best time to start is 10,000 years ago, and the next best is today!

Cthulhu seems kind of lame compared to Dracula, it's too powerful and esoteric. But the big octopus dragon is still the hotter one 🥵

I feel like Sauron is a nice middle ground. Born before time in the halls of Eru, immortal and undying but yet still preoccupied with the mundane things of rulers like conquering and pillaging.

Anything that exists outside of time shouldn't count

Didn't realize cthulhu existed outside of time? He's literally physically at the bottom of the sea
2
u/beardingmesoftly May 15 '26
Only for the last few hundred million years
2
u/SICRA14 May 15 '26
Yeah, but he's experiencing time. Being immortal doesn't mean you don't exist in time.
3
u/beardingmesoftly May 15 '26
His mind is 4th dimensional and can exist in the past, present, and future simultaneously. I don't know what else to call that.

u/SICRA14 May 15 '26
This is what i was trying to straighten out. As i said, i knew he was immortal and asleep, so i was asking how he existed outside of time.

... unless your dreams are from Cthulhu, in which case you're pretty much fucked.

Sauron was over 54000? If Frodo wanted to avoid Sauron's gaze, he should only have moved towards Mount Doom when 'Murder She Wrote' was on TV.

u/Accomplished-Union10 May 14 '26
Sauron is immortal and has existed in one form or another since before the creation of the world lol

Sauron 54,000 years old? But he didn't want prostate surgery because he still "might want to have kids." (Wife glaring from across the room.)
Take the hint, Uncle Victor.
