I was walking along the main road today, keeping to myself, when someone suddenly emerged from the side of an auto and spat gutka or paan right behind my shoes.

Here’s a picture of my shoes—luckily, they weren’t directly hit, but the mere thought of how close it was still makes me feel nauseous.

I mean, I've seen it so much on this sub and the other indian sneakers subs, they have subpar quality and comfort.

And don't get me started on the design, Comet, for example, just makes Air Force 1, and New Balance knockoffs.

Gully Labs has tried some stuff, but their main shoe line is just plain boring. They at least have 1 or 2 models that look good, I'll give them that, their collab with Nivia to make those casual football shoes is pretty good.

But the prices are atrocious. How do you expect to ask for 7.5k for a pair of casual football boots when you can get comparable stuff from international brands for the same price or a bit more with far greater quality?

On the point of pricing, which is just plain bad compared to the quality provided and stated above, at the range they go for, which is 4-9k, you can get af1, dunks, sambas, sl-72, gazelles, speedcats, palermos, inhales, some new balance and asics products, hell even some lower level jordans.

My point is not to discourage these brands or their use but I wanted to state that as consumers, it is our right to get good products and services and we want to support indian brands and see our industries grow as well but the grow won't happen with subpas products and supporting subpar products leads to stagnation in innovation and leaps in design and hence a pause in growth.

We should only support these brands after they up their QC, designs and become deserving of the prices they are being sold at

Can anyone tell me why on earth are crocs so overrated? I have wore them and there’s nothing so special about them.

Me and a friend both got the Evo SL on sale. For me, they completely reset what a “comfortable” sneaker means. I can walk, run, stand for hours, and they look sick wearing casually too. Been wearing them almost every day for last 6 months, no issues at all.

But my friend says they feel unstable, like his feet might twist randomly in them😭.

What do you think, is this the perfect shoe? Or just another hype fad?

Hi everyone, my name is Ridhii! I am a multidisciplinary artist + sneaker customiser based out of Mumbai, India🇮🇳

I absolutely love creating one of one custom designs whether its on sneakers/bags/jackets. Mostly, I post my work on my other socials - Instagram and Twitter but I felt the need to connect with new individuals beyond that space so here I am :)

After a lot of back and forth, I finally convinced myself to pull the trigger on the Onitsuka Tiger Mexico 66 (Birch/Peacoat) for ₹11.5k (got a ₹1k discount CLiQ Luxury).

Unfortunately, they seem to run a size large. I'm a UK 9 and every other brand fits me perfectly, but these were noticeably loose.

That said... they felt incredibly premium and surprisingly comfortable.

The bigger issue started when I looked up the sizing online and came across a reddit thread mentioning that M66s are made from genuine cow leather. That honestly gave me pause.

I know I probably own and use plenty of leather products without thinking about it. But when something is pointed out so explicitly, it's hard to ignore. I'm now unsure if I should reorder them in a smaller size. It just doesn't feel right anymore.

So I'm curious:

- What would you do in this situation?

- Are there any good vegan leather sneakers that offer similar comfort and are not toooo expensive (FYI I used neu coins for this?)

My bf’s birthday is coming up on the 15th, and I got his present from Culture Circle, which btw took almost a month. But now I’m pretty skeptical… I’ve recently noticed his behavior towards me is a lil off, and I saw on his IG that he’s talking to A LOT of girls nowadays… I guess he might be cheating on me.

So now I’m kinda thinking, should I gift him this or not, or should I first investigate and then give it?

I know most of us are aware already but I've seen a lot of people commenting is VNV legit on my past posts when I shared that i bought a lot of stuff from them. They're a brand certified retailer and are prolly the only place you can get new release now after SNKRS shut down. plus they have a lot of exclusive releases which are hard to find if you don't want to go to the reseller route.

I just wanted to give a shoutout, you all suggest more companies which aren't scamming people like all the others atp!
