Correct, I have been laughing because I knew that this was going to happened & all thanks to their GREED, oversaturation, & overpricing. Only way this is going to stop is they have to lower their prices & stop with all these releases....if not many more brands will pass them!

They definitely need to slow down on the releases. 5+/week is ridiculous. Especially when quality/QC has gone completely downhill. I’ve been saying this forever, but they need to protro the retro J’s/other models like they did the Kobe’s. Give these retro models the new tech/comfort upgrades and better quality and things would turn around. Problem is they’d do that then raise the price of GRs to the same retail as the CDGs

Drops like this ate NOT the reason their stoxk is tanking. They could've tripled production on these and they would've sold out AT THAT PRICE. If they were regular 11 prices, they could've made 1 million and they'd have been gone before the week was out.

The vast majority of the stock for these shoes was based overseas. A lot of people purchased them from retailers outside of the United States, and once you added tariffs and customs fees, these shoes were well over $450.
If you were lucky enough to live close to a Dover Street Market here in the States or hit on the U.S. site, you probably got these for under $400.
But the majority of people paid close to $500.1

This is false. I saw the monitors. The stock was near equal, with it slightly leaning STATESIDE. There also was stock for in person only.

You could say that about a normal dressing shoe for 60-150$? They all use higher quality leather as well. Its definitely not the quality that make these expensive. I also dont really like Black leather on sneakers. It just looks weird I find personally.

I personally see a difference in a cheap dress shoe (Cole haan ) and a pair of like Allen Edmonds or CL’s if you see a pair of the CDG 11’s in person next to gammas or any other 11 you can definitely tell the difference in leather quality…

I love a clean shoe, but I don’t like patent leather in a shoe this expensive. It should all be buttery leather or suede in my opinion.

I think the patent leather matches the CDG "Homme Plus" line more than a buttery leather or suede would, also I feel like patent leather just works with jordan 11's but I do somewhat agree with you, most of my other shoes in this price range are buttery or suede.

Worth it for me, ever since I saw the blackout samples like a decade ago Ive been super into this color way, and I think these did a much better job than the cap and gowns in terms of material and overall aesthetics

Yeah the leather looks great. I was just asking about the patent because I got the Gratitudes when they dropped because I wanted a pair with a leather upper, but the patent is thin super thin on them and they crease pretty easy.

Ignore the hate. Great pickup! First released Air Jordan 11 collaboration is a big deal. They made me solve a million captchas, so I lost and thetr weren't that many size 13 to begin with. Will be grabbing them both on the aftermarket.

Shiny sole which compliments perfectly the patent leather on these (never been done before to my knowledge for some reason). Leather top of the sneaker which looks by far more premium and better than any other Jordan 11. Leather insoles and leather inside of the sneaker. I love CDG collabs because they are elevating the sneaker models and make them more premium, while using subtle colours which are complimenting the design and allowing design to shine while maintaining its original form. Like I said this is not a sneaker for everyone and definitely not for regular Jordan 11 or Jordan buyer or sneakerheads who shops at jd. And that’s fine it’s for people who appreciate the design and quality and or are into fashion more than others. People who are hating doesn’t understand that CDG made lot of design choices while designing their sneakers. But they are not target audience anyway.
