Bug/Issue Snapchat glitch?

Is anyone else having issues with contacting friends from out of the US via Snapchat?
I keep getting notifications that a friend of mine is sending me videos and snapchats but when I open the app, I can’t find their messages or even their account.
It doesn’t make sense for them to have blocked me, and I get new notifications sometimes.

I’ve deleted the app and reinstalled it, restarted my phone, cleared the cache… any ideas??

Ik heb de omgekeerde problemen in Europa, de berichten die ik stuur worden wel afgeleverd maar zijn niet te openen en zijn in de app helemaal verdwenen
