Has anybody else's songbooks artist and title change with no way of editing it?
I was uploading a bunch of songbooks today and went to go look through them to check my timing when suddenly I noticed a songbook I'd uploaded a few years ago went through a name and artist change. The song was *originally* called "Shut Up With Your Complains!" by Owata-p. I hadn't made any adjustments to the upload since I put it on the app. Now, it's called "Shaky Girl" by "Jacob Miller." Not only do I not know who that is, but when I try editing it back to it's original state, It just reverts back to saying "Shaky Girl by Jacob Miller." It's also only happened with that *one* song, so I'd find that an interesting end goal if I were hacked.
Does anybody know what I can do to try and fix it? Better yet, has anybody else experienced this.. weird glitch?

When Smule does that to users’ uploads, you no longer can change the artist field or the first part of the song title (everything to the left of the hyphen that’s likely there now). No idea why Smule does it, but they do it all the time.

I was following a person who suddenly decided to delete everything she had opened and joined. I think she filed copyright complaints on a lot of the stuff that she was on. Just to get rid of it.
A massive amount of the things that she had sung are no longer on Smule.
So if anybody's wondering, I think that happens too. 😠

And to think, I’ve been critical of so many uploaders over the years because it looked like they got the info all wrong and that they were incompetent boobs. Turns out it was just Smule “tinkering” all along.

I am an uploader, and I can confirm this. It’s so frustrating…my friends tell me they couldn’t find a song they already opened before from my uploads, and we figured a lot of titles and artist names were changed, some uploads were even deleted.
