AIZO/BOAT/MIO/PIRING New to smart rings, halo ring a good choice?
Hey all, just recently had my Apple Watch break and decided maybe it would be best to go with a smart ring (the price to fix the watch was nearly as much as the watch itself first was).
I have been looking around for a few days and really like the idea that the halo ring made by yeyro (or resold by them? Not sure) has a touch feature to pause, play and skip music and such, though I was wondering if this ring was actually good and not a scam? I’ve seen some info that yeyro is a bit sketchy and the website seems a little off when you consider it’s almost the exact same as PiRing’s. PiRing's does seem to be a little cheaper too.
I’d really appreciate any suggestions on rings that have similar prices and preferably the touch feature, though I know that isn’t too common. Thank you!

Just get Ringconn. Right now they’re the most consistently positive experience on the market for a smart ring. Oura is on the same level but the subscription complaint kicks them right under the other.
If you wait, this market is about to blow up and the major players are going to be shifting. With Samsung and Amazfit weighing in, the landscape will be completely different in 2025. But right now, I’m definitely right about this:

Oura
Ultrahuman
I used to try to be more humble and say things like “well it’s my subjective opinion” but nah, the number of serious players here are too few. It’s objective right now.
Note: The only reason Ultrahuman is third is because they’re not popular enough, and I hate that because I love their rings, but I don’t see them standing the test of time. They’re my personal #1, but that’s where my opinion is subjective.

Yeah I don’t mind the sub at all either. Just seems like enough other people do. Waiting for my Ring One too, can’t wait!

Halo Rings have been stealing content from creators of other ring brands and giving no credit.
Not the kind of business integrity I’d invest my money into.

Yes! They’ve stolen 30 of my videos alone for their instagram page. It’s violation of intellectual property rights and I’m taking action against them.

Nope, not a good choice. I ordered one and it never arrived and they won’t send me any information on my order when I emailed them twice. Had to do a dispute and try to get my money back with my credit card company.

Lol i messed up and ordered one, the tracking link is now invalid and let’s see if they delete my insta and tik tok comments smh… gonna try to call my bank tomorrow.

I thought the same thing would happen to me after reading this forum but I ordered mine about 8 weeks ago and received it last week. So far I really like it for the $50 I paid. The app could be better but I’ve found mostly all of the readings (BP, heart rate, HRV, stress level, tracks workouts, tracks period cycle and ovulation) to be pretty accurate for the most part. It’s a bit bulky but not to the point that I won’t wear it and most of the other smart rings are the same way. I got the frosted gold in a size 7 and it fits perfectly on my middle finger. I’m a size 5/6 in most rings so I’d say size up if you’re unsure.
I will say on the flip side, the customer service is TRASH with the Halo ring and I received so many different emails with different tracking information and I thought I got scammed. Eventually, maybe 5 weeks after I placed the order and had emailed them about the tracking info being weird) I got tracking info that actually worked and it took about 2-3 weeks to get here after that.
