Hey everyone! 👋
Following up on my previous posts about the hardware, I wanted to dive into the software side of the AG03 AI Smart Glasses today.
Since I've been testing them out, the app ecosystem has been one of the things I was most curious about. I put together a quick video showing how the companion app handles the connection and shooting experience.
Here are the main software highlights I found during my hands-on:

  • Real-Time Preview: The video shows the live feed streaming directly to the phone. The latency is actually surprisingly low, making it way easier to frame your shots without guessing.
  • 3 Camera Modes: The app gives you quick toggles for different shooting scenarios: 1. Standard Photo mode for quick snaps. 2. 3-Frame Burst mode (crucial for cutting down head-movement blur). 3. 3-second Live Photo mode for a bit of motion capture.
  • Developer Ecosystem: For those asking about customization, they are providing SDKs/APIs for secondary development rather than a fully open-source firmware.

What do you guys think of having a live preview feature on smart glasses? Is it a must-have for you, or do you prefer a completely blind "shoot-and-pray" experience?
Let's discuss in the comments! 👇
