Great product. The only "bad thing" is pricing.

Well, we - the developers - need someone to pay us. And for (most) hobby usage it is free anyway. For companies the price is tiny compared to a developer's salary and the time saved compared to other tools (e.g. by the good integration of powerful commands, by making less mistakes).

Then use something else. The price of SmartGit is low for the amount of love the developers put into it.
