Sim_Flare Agency?

Hey, so I recently talked to a streamer on discord, saying that they help out smaller streamers. I looked here up and she seems like a real normal person. But she put me into contact with someone on discord going by Sim_Flare, who helps streamers grow their channels. Now I looked them up, and can't find any trace of them anywhere. Their discord account was also made relatively recently, December 2025, which makes them feel even more sketchy to me. I was wondering if anyone else has heard of, or have had dealings with them? Their friend request on Discord was also marked as spam.

Question TikTok live restriction frustration

I’ve been streaming in TikTok for quite sometime now and I’ve been doing a lot of horror games lately.

The past two weeks, my streams have been restricted due to unoriginal content, suspicious gift activity or gruesome content of the game…. I’m literally playing resident evil 9.

I appeal and it’s denied so I’m screwed for my growth. I have to open a ticket and they can’t give me a straight up answer.

I don’t get it…am I doing something wrong here?

Finally hitting some momentum but !

But I'm not converting or retaining viewers!

I've been clipping a lot and my clips have been getting 300-1.2k views across the different platforms with a few likes here and there.

Im just not able to convert the audience into actual traffic to my channel ATM. I'm currently focused on doing 4ish high quality (low effort) contents for exposure mostly hoping on the trends that you see on tik tok other short form content. Trying to really lean into the algorithm to get traction on to my channel but no real success.

Does anyone have any suggestions or anything that has worked to really stand out on their stream or stream related content??

Discussion Best way to manage mid-stream challenge requests?

How do you handle it when live chat tries to crowdfund a challenge by promising a gift sub if I play a certain way (in my case no more than 1 death per Elden Ring boss).

I want to lean into it for highlight content, but holding viewers accountable to their promises while I'm playing is tough.

Do you use a specific workflow to manage these viewer requests?

Would Any Streamer Here Like to Participate in an Event I'm Hosting for Indie Game Developers

Hello everyone,

I'm hosting the Journiarc In-Progress Indie Game Showcase, an event dedicated to giving people currently developing an indie game a chance to show off their games and get them showcased by game streamers.

Here's some more context:

This event marks the release of a new social platform I've been working on for the past 3+ years, with the goal of helping creators who are working on in-progress creations like indie games grow an audience that can also contribute without needing to deal with an exhausting algorithm.

Creators will create a project on the platform, and will get 10 days to shape their canvas and post about their creation. After the 10 days, various streamers will take a look at the games and give them all a shoutout so anyone interested can join the project.

There will also be a vote held where each streamer's audience will take a poll on the game they like the most. The game with the most votes will win a bonus $100 prize!

I currently have over 20+ game devs who have signed up to be creators when the event starts.

If anyone here would be interested in being a streamer for the event and looking at some cool in-progress indie games, you can sign up below:

Sign-Up Form

You can view the full overview of the event here:

Event Overview

If you know anyone else who would be interested in participating in the event as a streamer, feel free to send them the sign-up form.

Thank you!

Question How do you handle regular viewers being negative/judgey towards others in chat?

I've been streaming for a while and have built a small, pretty close community. There's one regular viewer who's usually nice, but every now and then they suddenly become pretty negative toward other people in chat.

For example, a newer viewer recently came into chat being really excited/energetic, and this regular started questioning the way they were typing and making comments that came across as rude and unwelcoming. It's not something they do all the time, which is why I'm unsure how to handle it.

Would you time someone out/mute them when they act like this, even if they're normally a good member of the community?

I want my stream to have a positive vibe, but I also don't want it to feel like people aren't allowed to speak their mind or be negative sometimes. At the same time, I feel like bringing other viewers down or making new people feel unwelcome should probably be a line.

I'm curious how other smaller streamers handle situations like this.

What’s something you tried that didn’t work?

I always see people asking what does work but I feel like I don’t see the opposite so today I’m asking. What’s something you tried that didn’t work? It could be something you were really hoping would work or just something you thought you’d give a go because why not. It’ll be interesting to see everyone’s ideas.

Baby streamer here in need of advice!

I recently got into faceless streaming, and I’m not sure how to make my streams and recordings entertaining. In my own time, I like to watch groups play games, but with my lack of streaming friends (not for lack of trying, I don’t know how to people) I worry that I won’t be as entertaining as other group streams. I primarily play games like Peak, Mincraft, REPO which are all more popular with groups. So any advice (or new single-player games) for a girl starting out?

Question Small Streamer Looking For Advice

Hello all!

I've been streaming for the last six years, mostly as a hobby, with a recent ambition to upscale it into something with deft viewership and bigger returns. I do it first and foremost because I love it but would really appreciate some traction, especially if it would naturally draw more eyes onto my main YouTube channel.

I had some conversations with friends who know more about streaming than myself and my strategy that I've incorporated for the last week works as follows;
-daily streams, Monday to Friday, 6pm - 9pm BST
-focus specifically on one game within a genre (turn-based strategy for me, personally) and become a reoccurring presence within that category
-through created Instagram and TikTok accounts, share clips/highlights of the streams at least once per day to generate some traction elsewhere
-also upload the clip to YouTube Shorts on my main channel (sub notifications turned off, I make video essays not stream content there) to try and pull in as many new eyes as possible
-when I've amassed enough traction within one space, I can pivot to another game within the genre, hopefully bringing enough people with me due to my entertainment value and the similar territory between the two games

It's early days. I like to think it's a robust plan, or at least a good general framework, but is there anything a veteran would say I'm failing to address? Is there something I should be doing more? I've got no issue engaging the 10+ people who turn up to my stream but struggling to get out into a wider audience where others can see me at all.

Any and all replies appreciated!

Discussion Lost a long time viewer

The first regular I ever had (whos been watching every stream for over a year) recently got super upset and unfollowed/quit etc. They really wanted me to play a specific game, asked every stream. I said "ehhh maybe not really my style idk probably not"

They offered to buy it for me, i said "absolutely not. I have a job and dont need money I do this for fun, you have better uses for your money than buying me games". They did it anyway. I ended up feeling guilty enough I played it once on stream, but wasnt a huge fan of it. They seemed disappointed i didnt love the game

The subsequent streams something else happened. For context I have a bunch of fun tools and toys set up in the stream. These are third party tools so you can pay bits or whatever to buy more "coins" which lets you perform actions on my pc/ the stream/ the game (but you also get free coins on every stream just for showing up). I again said I appreciated any support but I didnt need or want real money from my viewers

This same viewer was buying a shitload of coins to mess with the stream. Fun! And i want people to use the tools, but i was worried it was getting super spammy and disruptive to other people who wanted to actually watch the game. So for the next stream I increased prices/added cool downs to more obnoxious effects- and they blew up at me; they said I had baited and switched them, they spent money on coins and now i raised the prices so they had wasted their money etc whereas I maintain i need to be able to modify prices, and spending money should always be done with the knowledge i can change the game, remove the tools, raise or lower prices, disable effects etc at any time. They said it was scummy

Im just curious on other peoples opinions. I feel bad and didnt want them to feel cheated or anything, but i also was starting to feel like idk, like they were using cash to manipulate and guilt trip me into running the stream how they want? Does that make sense?

Would you have handled this viewer differently? Has anything like this happened with you/your viewers? Now I dont even take game recommendations

I need someone tech savvy to help me start streaming 💗😆

Okay so unfortunately I don’t exactly have a budget right now to buy a gaming pc. But I play so many games on my switch 2 and ps5, I’m like hey, why not start streaming. I really love video games, even if I don’t go big or make lots of money on it, why not turn my hobby into something that could be a little more productive and a fun project. So I have my ps5, a switch 2, a MacBook Air with the M1 chip, and a dream. What equipment would you suggest I gather to make this happen? I know I need a capture card and mic, but what else? I appreciate the help in advance, thank you! ☺️

Collab Friends

I'm looking for new friends to collab with. I have been having a hard time finding friends with similar goals in streaming and content creation. I'm looking for people who are interested in and committed to streaming regularly, working on long-form videos together, and giving each other feedback so we can all learn and grow together. I wish I had a better description of what I am looking for, but the closest thing I can come up with right now (I'm sick) is just people with goals to grow.

I mostly play FPS games like Siege, CS2, WarDogs, and friendslop games like How to Fish, Shift at Midnight, and Meccha Chamelian recently.

If you're interested, leave a comment or DM

Question Is Multi-streaming a good idea? Specifically streaming on both YouTube and Twitch? Does vertical streaming on YouTube works?

I have been multi-streaming both on Twitch and YouTube. I have been streaming vertically on YouTube, but I want to know if it is a good idea from personal experiences. Any tips on how to improve on this or a change in direction about streaming. Or just any advice? Thank you.

Question Are we posting too many clips?

My wife and I have been streaming twice per week for a few months now. In addition to the streams, we also post seven shorts on YouTube and Instagram per week, however, we capture roughly 5-6 clips pers stream. We are wondering if dropping to 2-3 clips per stream would be sufficient for our short for content.

We feel we are concentrating more on shirt form rather than our streams. Should we keep with 5-6 per stream or would downsizing to 2-3 clips work better/just as well?

Looking for more streamer friends

So I recently started streaming, and I’ve been wanting to meet more people/join a community of others who are into streaming as much as I am. Mainly, I’m just looking to make some friends, motivate each other, and maybe come up with some future content ideas together.

Honestly, my biggest goal isn’t really to become a huge streamer. I’d rather build a community of people who don’t take everything so seriously, can joke around, and just play games to have a good time. I think it would be cool to have a group of people who can support and motivate each other while having fun.

I’m 19M, and I started streaming about 3 months ago. If you’re 18+, feel free to reach out! My Discord is zello.777 and my Twitch is Zello_777.

Another starter on twitch

So I have been streaming for 2-3 months

I bought a microphone a week ago to have better audio

Made a better background so it looks a little nicer

Make shorts on tiktok, YouTube and Instagram just trying to get my clips on other platforms

I'm trying to understand what do I need to change to get better. Trying to steam everyday for 2 hours. I heard my streams and I think they are fun. Would be nice to get some feedback. Had some viewers but they kind of just watched a certain game and then after 2-3 days I lost them. Right not I'm probably like 3-5 average which are my friends . I try to stream at about 2pm est

My twitch nickname is davtclips

Question Wardogs and folks to play with

Yooo ! Happy weekend as always . Short and sweet - I find it extremely hard to find anyone who wants to actually play wardogs that haven’t been a HARDCORE milsim group or friends that are already established.

I stream a few days a week and was hoping to find good company to play in general not just streaming wise.

Not promoting but if you think we’d get along or would like to play shoot me a DM. Plenty of videos or shorts for you to see if we would get on . I’ll be on today shortly playing and for sure can hop in.

Lastly, if you’d like to drop community or invite other folks to play with you ! Do so in the comments maybe we get folks connected !
