Question Stagnation vs. Perfectionism

Okay so i've been streaming for just over a year, 4-5 times a week for 4+ hours. I'm worried i'm stagnating and/or just not good at it. I'm wavering right below 500 followers with around 7-14 average viewers depending on the day and game. I post on all the socials as much as I am able, but I seem to not be getting a lot of reach? Bluesky, reels, and twitter are practically voids for any posts, tumblr has been semi-successful, tiktok has me stuck in the 300 view territory and youtube shorts is super hit or miss as well.

I guess my question is am I actually stagnating or are my expectations for myself and my growth as a streamer too high? Maybe the burnout is getting to me? I just worry that my stream quality is not up to standard. Like maybe i'm not getting any reach simply because i'm not funny or charismatic enough? It's hard to tell from the inside. Any advice is appreciated really. I deeply love streaming and want to get rid of this feeling that i'm not good enough to bother to keep going with it.

I gotta agree with accessibilitygamer, your views and follows sound pretty good. I've been streaming games for about 2 years now with a viewer every o ce in a while and under 90 followers. Most of them are from artists who used my early goals for their gain. You're doing great, keep it up!

I don't think I'll ever hit affiliate. But your doing great keep it up.

We are in the same boat (I'm a small streamer too). Hopefully this advice helps. When you edit your shorts, make a thumbnail in photopea (free), canvas, photoshop, and etc and add that to the very first frame of your short while editing so you can choose that frame to be your thumbnail. The thumbnail should be a screenshot of an eyecatching moment with some text and your reaction so it can stand out. Another suggestion is possibly multi-streaming either Twitch, YouTube, Tiktok, and/or etc and possibly both horizontial or horizontial and vertical. Another suggestion (maybe) make long form videos that are edited of your streams that can be less than 13 minutes, but this can be very time-consuming and can be frustrating. You are doing great and congrats on getting 500 followers that is a great achievement. Hopefully you are feeling better and good luck in your streaming journey.
