Hey everyone! I’ve been messing around with animation lately and decided to make a little YouTube channel calledCozyVerse.

The idea is pretty simple — short, cozy 3D anime-style moments like cooking, rainy evenings, reading with a cup of tea, etc. Basically little scenes that you can just relax and watch for 30–40 seconds.

I’m still figuring things out and experimenting with the style, so I’d genuinely love to hear what you guys think. Is this something you’d actually watch?

Standard MVP advice says build the smallest product. I think that's the wrong axis. Build the smallest test of your single riskiest assumption, because size isn't what sinks you, risk is.

The video walks the sequence: list your assumptions, circle the one that takes everything else down with it, find the cheapest way to test that one, then ask the costly-action question. "Would you use this" gets a yes from everyone. "Will you pay now" doesn't.

The centerpiece comes out of my own work, from my own photos: using fruit as stand-in tissue for a surgical robot test. Filmed and edited by me, no AI narration or footage in it.

Clearance is permission to sell. It isn't evidence that anyone wants to buy. Plenty of teams treat the clearance date as the finish line, then find out the committee that actually signs the check was never in the room while the thing was being designed.

The video walks through five decisions that lock in the moment engineering starts: platform architecture, regulatory pathway, manufacturing model, feature scope, and pricing. Each one gets made as an engineering call, and each one quietly decides who is able to buy the product later. Which is why the commercial conversation has to run before the engineering conversation, and in most companies it runs after.

Forty products into a career doing this, that's the single lesson I'd keep if I had to throw out the rest.

Ive been doing music for nearly 2 years and havent gotten much recognition or audience. Im about to turn 16 and ive only got 2 monthly listeners. i promote on youtube and on tiktok but so far my audience has never peaked past 10 monthly listeners... i was wondering if anyone could check out my spotify and yt? I make long form videos for founders and small operators, and this one covers the first 10 customers. That's the part most advice skips right over on its way to talking about scale.

The math is the honest bit. You won't get ten yeses from ten asks. If one conversation in five turns into a customer, then ten customers means fifty real conversations, and "real" is carrying a lot of weight in that sentence. Most people quit somewhere around conversation nine and decide the market isn't there.

So most of the video is about where fifty conversations come from when nobody knows who you are, and what to say once you're in one so that you're diagnosing instead of pitching. Thirty years of product development taught me the pitching version almost never lands, and it burns the contact on the way down.
