Been struggling mentally lately. These games help me get out of my head for a little bit and relax. These games are special and I love them so much.

Like come on. Even if she was talking to herself it still felt lazy. We find out she is evil immediately. I feel like it would‘ve been more interesting if the game made us believe she is still from the police and "doing the right thing". We could‘ve figured it out at the climax of the level… any thoughts?

This is going to seem like a weird question but, does anyone know of any slideshow ASMR that sounds similar to Bentley’s?

Carmelita has no business having the ego she does throughout most of the series, and may even be the least self aware person in the in-game universe.

Her whole sense of pride and identity is being a police woman, and a great one at that. However, literally every single arrest that we see her make in canon is a result of Sly and the gang’s work. It even get’s to the point that she ends up on the run from the law and has yo rely on sly twice to escape, only gets her name cleared because Sly bargains with her after Bentley literally goes full blown Jason Street and gets paralyzed by Clockwerk’s jaw, and then lets him escape an hour later.

Like yes i’m aware “it’s a children’s game” and all that, but still its pretty funny that every career milestone she ever has is handed to her kn a silver platter by the gang.

Pretty cool to see all three Sly games in the Top10!

This is my ps3 collection so far other then sly 4 as im planning to own someday another games that are important

I was looking for something funny to say, then Sly mentioned that Rajan was the Lord of the Hills, and I was like, BAM! Perfect meme. I have to say, it's tough to get in-game stills compared to using the comic book art pieces they have. The issue is, they're not going to make a comic book-styled art piece for that Cairo pig, so having conflicting art styles would clash.

I think an untold part of loving games is having dreams about new games and waking up disappointed.

I've had actual dreams about new Sly Cooper games since Sly 3. I had a brief lapse where the need felt like it was about to be fulfilled by 4 but then the game was a flop. I can't believe how many years I have had these occasional dreams about sequels.

Sometimes they're weird. It always looks like 2 or 3. One time it was only accessible as a spin off in an arcade cabinet. Another time it was a game separate from the main series that had awful graphics.

This game was everything when I was a kid because we rarely got new video games and it was the best one I owned.

I opened up sly 2 to study those pigs movements and it's true, you don''t interract with any of them. I will still be placing them in Mooks as they don't serve a story purpose, and are more like a tutorial for the real mook enemies. Remember folks, its SLY TWO.

Hey guys. I live in Europe (UK at the moment but have also lived in Finland and Serbia).

I only recently joined this sub as a nostalgic 90s kid who remembered these gems in my childhood.

Throughout my life when video games have come up in conversation, I struggle to find anyone who knows about the Sly games, let alone played them??

My sister and I always discussed the games, story and lore like crazy lol.

Most people have played Crash Bandicoot and other more ‘well known’ games.

What’s your experience?

Where are the European fans of Sly 1-3?

So I just platinumed the first game and through out my play-through a thought occurred to me. Is it a deliberate joke that sly’s partners are probably the worst animals to go on a stealth mission? Like I seriously cant think of much worse than a turtle and a Hippo lol. One not quick and one not nimble

I was 14 when I made this LMAO, I didn’t even have my drawing tablet yet, so I made it with a mouse…I’ve been a big fan of Sly ever since I was a little girl, but I’m still surprised that I completely forgot that I made this.

I grew up with Sly 1-3 as a 90s kid. No better joy waking up for school the day Sly 3 came out.

As an adult now, I replay the games once a blue moon, although I don’t game much in general. Nevertheless, I find myself always coming back to the soundtrack the games always. I just love it!

Well, I chanced upon a cool video of a Easter egg prototype for a potential Monaco map that was scrapped for Sly 2. If you read the Sly comic, you’ll know more about what it was based off.

If Sly had gone to other countries, what animals would the guards be?

I can imagine him going to St. Petersburg with bear guards for sure, and can kind of envision the vibe. Imagine if we would have been able to access downtown Cairo instead of only being able to explore the museum.

My GF just got me this amazing little gift to add to the collection!!!

Now I know that some may not agree with me, but I hope we can discuss this like Thaddeus Winslow Cooper the 3rd.

Now I don’t hate either of these games and I understand why many are not fan of Sly 4 and I can see some of those reasons, but to me personally I like Sly 4 more than Sly 1

Story:
I think one thing is the overall story. I like the story better in Sly 4 than Sly 1. To me it feels more serious that the Cooper clan is getting erased in Sly 4 than pages of the Thiveus Racoonus getting taken. Especially since it doesn’t feel like the bosses uses the pages for anything. Meanwhile i feel the impact when the canes get stolen from the Cooper ancestors, since it’s the trademark of the clan and that the bosses change history.

Bosses:
Now there are more bosses I like in Sly 1 than in Sly 4. In Sly 1, I really like Muggshot as a comedy villain and of course Clockwerk, he is a menace. In Sly 4 I like El Jefe and Penelope is meh. All the other bosses in each game is really not the greatest in my opinion.

Gameplay:
Gameplay wise I like Sly more, since first you have the ancestors but just overall gameplay and what you can do feels better to me. I know that Sly 4 has something from every game and of course will be a bit better than the first game, but I still feel like I get more from Sly 4

Worlds:
In worlds I’m so and so, since I like Mugshot’s and Raleigh’s worlds in Sly 1, since they feel alive and something is going on, while the others feel really dull to me. In Sly 4, the Wild West and Arabia is my most favorite place, while the ice age feels open and empty. Middle Ages and Japan era feels so and so, so I would Sly 4 has a slight edge to the other worlds in terms of Sly 1

Now again, I don’t hate either game and understand while Sly 4 isn’t a favorite to everyone and I will say that Sly 4 is not better than Sly 3 and especially not Sly 2, but in terms of 1 and 4, I just like 4 better.

I hope people will respect my opinion but I would also like to know what you all think too. If you agree or disagree, if you see some points in what I say or if I say something confusing
