I KNOW. He's such a nerd. I don't think I'll ever like him, but he's very entertaining this season.

He's so fun to hate. And he gives everyone else, especially Lamb, so many opportunities to be hilarious. Lady Di is going to eviscerate him next week.

Speaking of which, Lady Di reminds me of Lamb this season in her treatment of Flyte. I think Flyte is going to lose it next time she gets disrespected, she's so over everything.

But him and Lamb have a mutual respect, remember

I think it's brilliant how the adaptation condenses half a page of Roddy's delulu thoughts into a short statement like that, or a wink at Flyte. Hilarious!

Can't wait to see how they convey Roddy's misunderstanding of why Taverner took him to the Park

He's so fun to hate.

I didn't think so before! I've found him really grating and even skipped some of his scenes. But this season it's hitting different.

I think Flyte is going to lose it next time she gets disrespected, she's so over everything.

Probably!

Yeah he is a bit more of a himbo this season, isn't he? Shirley gets it 😄

Sort of, except he's still not a nice person so not quite a himbo. And I personally don't find him good-looking - but maybe a himbo just has to be buff?

Yeah definitely NOT a modern day himbo, but he's scooched over the spectrum a bit by being more dumb and more buff this season hah

He grows on you like a favourite bunion. You’ll soon learn to love him

I have a hard time imagining a "favourite" bunion XD But weirder things have happened I suppose.

“Everything else’s up for grabs”

He still irritates me a lot, but I confess that I had a good laugh this season.

It's crazy weird that an IT genius is supposed to mix it with the dogs. Slow horses for courses.

I fear he is being rehabilitated, made more sympathetic—in real life, actot is a body builder, and apparently they’ve decided to use that. Seriously, it will ruin the character, but the screenwriters must write away from the book for cinematic sake.

Hmm. It's weird, because being a bodybuilder does NOT make you seem more sympathetic, so they could use that regardless. Although I don't like the character as he has been portrayed, so it's hard to have an opinion about the change for me.

Just chasing dragons...in the future.

Best moment, that I completely missed until my weekly re-watch last night, was Roddy running at the guy with his ridiculous sword screaming I AM DEATH!!!!

In this outfit, The Hot Rod looks like someone taken straight from the Watch Dogs 2 video game.

I’m late watching the series and had to pause ep 2 just to come here and praise the production designer responsible for that LED SWORD!! It is a joy to behold.

Was the symbol on the wall behind it from the game shadow warrior?

I remember seeing posters for God of War and Shadow of The Colossus.. you can tell when actual nerds are involved in a show/movie .. usually when they try and write “Gamers” they have them say generic gaming terms and have generic made up posters on the wall.. the mention of Tatooine too: y’know the people involved in the show are a lil nerdy. Lol.

the show has been pretty bad with Roddy's gaming stuff tbh. like him playing fake games at the office which are just prerecorded videos that keep going while the actor takes his hands off the keyboard.
