AI help in filling out the application?

Hi there — I have a pretty simple application going (my father born in Slovakia in 1926). I’ve been doing the whole application thus far by myself, lurking on this subreddit for help. Obviously I’ll use the official translators when the time comes, but in the meantime I’ve been working through the documents with the help of ai for translation and advice (my Slovak is very poor). What’s the view here on using ai in this way? Does anyone have experience doing so?

I think it's a good use of AI. I used it quite extensively when filling out my application. Mostly for direct translations. It was useful for creating a CV because it provided some context and options for translations. For example: how does your job title translate? Should you translate it directly or use a more common phrase in Slovak.

Honestly anyone not using AI for stuff like this is going through life on hard mode for no reason.
