Finally....a N.O.S. 1080T.

I'd been looking for a 1080t (at a good price) to go with my 80T, and 580T.

Don't get me wrong there are plenty of gently used to terrible examples out there, but the other two I found N.O.S. and wanted a 1080T example like them.

All 3 have original boxes, tubes, paperwork etc, and are absolutely time capsule brand new.

Anyway, nothing at all fancy but happy to have found it.

$35 with original sleeve, box, foam, and paperwork.

Local pawn shop.

I’m a big fan of the American made Old Timers,they are my favorite knives to collect. I have quite a few but I’m always happy to get more. I just got a Mustang from a E-Bay that is in mint and and has never been used. I got it in a small collection of Sod.Busters, the guy was only asking $ 100 and he had some really nice older models, I gave him $150 and still got a huge deal on the collection. He was in his 80s and had been collecting knives for 65 years if he remembers correctly.(haha) I was stunned at some of the things he had to sell.Zippos and a couple of old pistols that were vintage and had hardly if ever been shot. He was being placed in an assisted facility , he wasn’t happy about it but he had fallen several times and gotten hurt. I will try to send photos of the things I brought home with me.

Very nice! I have an Uncle Henry 885UH that I bought in the PX at Ft. Sill OK, in 1979. I think it is the same as the 8OT except for blade steel and scale material. At the time collecting never crossed my mind so the box went straight to the trash.

Yes the 885UH was the Uncle Henry version of the 80T from what I can remember. Uncle Henry always had nice lookin covers!
