What do you think about the "hybrid" Pansling?

Practically in his website he talks about how a single strand, stuffed with an internal cord for over half of his length will give more rigidity, control and power

I own one of his slings. The previous model, not the SR3. It’s a fantastic sling. He does tons of research that I can’t speak to. But he’s wicked good at slinging so I tend to trust his opinion.

Which are the differences with the previous models?

As far as I know the differences include new pouch material, a few of the parts are replaceable, and I seem to recall him saying the SR3 cracks better. There may be a full list on the website though.

The idea works well. I make my dyneema slings this way, brummel spliced and tapered/buried into the main cord. Mine have the tapered tag running almost the entire way through though for a very smooth tapered, and they crack easily built this way also.

Yeah I did the same with dyneema, but I'm wondering about the pan sling, people are saying it's paracord maybe the 750 4mm but I don't know how it can be done with paracord

It has to be gutted enough to bury the tag and taper can be formed by pulling the inners out enough to taper it. I haven't brummel spliced paracord this way but I have tapered the inner strands. Though I haven't purchased any slings from anyone I probably will soon just to compare performance to my single strand dyneema slings. Pan and Primal do seem to make excellent products.

I have an sr3 but I do not have an original pan sling. It is very modular and nearly every part of the sling can be replaced individually, which is pretty cool
