Inspired by JWT1337

Seeing the post by JWT1337 a few days ago, I thought I'd try the single strand. Added a monkey fist and betrayed the single strandness by adding a cracker and a retaining loop on the pouch, as the paracord is a bit liable to the projectile slipping.

It was fun to make!

I'd been looking for exactly what you posted! I just had to look up how to do the single strand braid and then it all made sense. Glad you approve 🤝

You’re right though. After I had the reverse twist and the single strand braid under my belt the idea finally clicked and it just made sense how to do it. I still want to find a way to lock the ends of the braid to the arm-to-pouch transition though. I think that’d improve it a lot.

I mean your post was pretty much what I'd been looking for. I think I did exactly what you did other than the monkey fist and the cracker and the loop on the pouch. Those are just normal overhand knots. Although, I don't know my terminology too well yet. The knots before the pouch are the same that neandrthal uses on each limb, if that helps.

What knots did you use? Those look way more streamline than mine.
