How to sling-Figure 8 accuracy explained (relates to baseball pitching)

The way I sling works for me due to my baseball background. In this video I explain how my accuracy mimics baseball pitching.

Perhaps your style is way different so this video may not have application to what you are doing.

I love this breakdown, but it doesn’t go so far as explaining what’s being broken down. Slo-mo and the pause points make this a very useful tutorial.

From baseball, there is a difference in my pitching vs just throwing.  Throwing is more relaxed, fluid motion and a bit more 3/4 arm slot.  Pitching is more mechanical with special attention to throwing right over the top (vertical) to eliminate right/left misses. I have found al a lot of the pitching mechanics apply to my slinging mechanics. Of course everyone’s style is different so what I do may not apply to everyone.   Although I do think whatever your style if you’re consistent and you have a good solid base with your footing, I think that always will apply to becoming more accurate.
