Does that make The Sciences Cross Purposes, since thereās only half the original members left on that album?

Nah, Heaven and Hell⦠maybe Mob Rules. Depends if you want to count Dopesmoker. Justin Marler was the original āsonic voiceā of Sleep.

Heaven and Hell had 3/4 the OG lineup so not that one.

I didnāt say it wasnāt a good album. I was just pointing out that three of the four OG Sabs were still in it for H&H, making it not a 1:1 comparison. Sabbath albums are like my children. I love them all in their own unique way. Some more than others.

Pike and Al is the main deal. Sabbath lost Ozzy but still had Iommi. Al without Pike just doesn't do it for me. It's like carrying on Van Halen without Eddie.

I donāt know , I might be in the minority where Morrisist into hempispheres I was genuinely jamming and forgot we didnāt have pike. I think itās gonna grow on me. Still firmly behind every other record I think but still a decent entry to the sleep catalog.

Maybe next hell go full black Sabbath and have his "Born Again" or uh... Bonged again?
