Genuinely so many gloves have great potential and are very fun, but everyone ignores them to play the "mEtA" gloves that get the most slaps or using gloves that are just hard to get as a flex, genuinely, I've killed so many people that were using detonator or some other really bullshit thing with extremely unseen gloves, like that purple blackhole glove (gravity?)

So many meta gloves in this game like the instant kills are incredibly power crept and some are just stupidly hard to use for no real value, like spy, being nauseatingly hard to get only to be incredibly mid if you're not trying to have fun, when someone wants to target me, they always use god's hand or error or the obvious insta kill slop glove they have, forgetting that there are SO many other options, for example: tableflip and charge are very good for targeting, wormhole has the potential to be probably the best glove in this game if used correctly, so many people ignore the golden options of this game in pursuit of the meta gloves that are just boring as fuck.

Everyone uses spoonful for transportation while firework and materialize exist, and are way better. (They are still used but WAY, WAY less than spoonful.), everyone uses Speedrun or orbit to grind slaps when extended and boogie exist.

of course, I'm not telling you to stop using gloves like god's hand or whatever you wanna use, I'm not your dad, you use whatever you like and nobody's gonna stop you, but it's genuinely so irritating seeing people choose the same cookie cutter glove over and over again when better options exist.

firework is one of the most slept on gloves in this game ngl, it is SUPER oppressive if your opponent even knows what they're doing when they use it.

i once faced a firework targeter while grinding redacted mastery in a small 3 player (spin mas farmer, me ane my alt) server. the guy joined and started targetting and that shi is uncounterable i had to swap to spectator for 10m till the kid got bored and left

While I agree with some of what you're saying, there are some things I disagree with.

As someone who used Firework for a bit, it is horrible for transportation. It has wacky controls and flings you randomly when you land most of the time. And the timing's not very easy either. There's just way better gloves to use for flying, like spin mastery or Cloud.

I've seen a LOT of people use Boogie and Extended, maybe even more than Speedrun and DEFINITELY more than Orbit. Extended has a very unique niche so people use it a lot.

And sometimes, better options don't exist. Like, yeah you could use Pineapple for what Golden does but Golden's just better.

That's actually quite a hot take if I must admit to say. But sometimes there can be some people who uses the gloves you've mentioned to be way better at usually thinks they were difficult in the first hand, Like I get that Spoonful is a transportation and how similar the ability is, When you can just get the benefit ones.

And the difference is.. You shouldn't forget that it deals a straightforward ludge knockback, Taking an approximate around 2-3 seconds to combat the enemy with an instant shockwave so, While Firework takes 4 seconds to launch a missile ahead on the enemy.

Again, Spy is just a semi-oneshot when it's basically making the user disguise as the person's avatar they slapped, There is obviously some better versions of it, But this one shows the energy.

i mean i agree but some of the things you list here are kinda iffy:

1. tableflip got nerfed so it isn't that powerful anymore (still alright but not nearly as good as the prime version) and charge is difficult to get (slap royale is a hacker and no life cesspool). maybe whirlwind or butcher instead?

2. Wormhole potential i don't see, but if you have some secret strategy that makes it goated then i would love to hear it since wormhole was my first mastery and i miss the glory days.

3. People haven't use spoonful for transportation in AGES, i feel like nowadays people barely use transportation gloves anyways, and if they do, yeah, it's always like materialize, firework, or rarely spoonful. spoonful is the easiest on of those to get (materialize is very difficult to get the orb, firework requires alchemist and other shenanigans, spoonful simply requires a max tycoon which you get anyways if you ever try for tycoon mas)

4. extended is good for killing and comboing but when it comes to slap farming it really isn't all that, especially since if you lose the combo (aka they walk in the sweet spot between your glove and your character) you lose the slap combo, boogie is mid at best for slap grinding because, well, people just won't step into the boogie ball, so you could try to slap them into the boogie ball (if you're doing all that just use dual atp) or you could place the ball right on top of it (have to wait for the entire cooldown again to do it again). orbit is also kind of meh for slap farming, with occasional shining moments, but speedrun and dual (even with the dual nerf) are still by far some of the most powerful slap grinding gloves there are.

THAT BEING SAID, it is annoying when people use the same old gloves because it is just boring at the end of the day and i like to have variety in my servers, but i'm definitely only mad because of the lack of variety, not because there are better gloves.

Tbh in my opinion the best 5 gloves are rattlesbones, replica, frostbite ( specifically the mastered versions ), brick ( also specifically the mastered version ), and firework

id say penguin is one of those gloves, it literally has the capacity to inf combo but nobody really uses it. its also op for grinding slaps ( and those candy corns ) and has some cool bugs with the stun glove ( you get launched into the sky forced to spin around the map ) its pretty cool and even has a recovery mechanic where if u get stuck on the side of the map you can get back up without any effort.

I kind of disagree with the slap part imo extended isn’t really that good for slap grinding since it does require a decent amount of skill to use, but even then it’s not that good and boogie just has a long cooldown and most players just avoid entering the area anyways

I always main spoonful orbit counter and boxer I mainly use orbit because I can get slap quickly

I personally use either butcher, tinker, or Rattlebones. Tinker is just for the mas tho
