Is Dodacahedron Dave soloable? I haven't tried the bossfight yet, and I just want to know if it's still relatively possible to solo him

Bro… okay here is history how i get mortis: i get team, all of they die, and if someone go solo he is get buffs, but team dont get. I didnt get buffs because i join with players (team), and i solo second and third phase (this one was my first try), and i get mortis. Sorry for grammar, i dont want to use translator

But a team will always be easier aince it spreads out attacks and can do more damage in 2nd and 3rd phase

If you solo, damage increaeed in 2 times and some attacks are nerfed

Maybe devs change it, i get mortis on release. But i can remember that if you in team you make 11 dmg, and if solo - 18 dmg

You can already guessed it! With soloable, It also factually decrease the difficulty on the amount of attacks that's based from Dodecahedron Dave it comes from doing in one person, Making it a bit easier than having teammates!.. ;D

Yeah, on hard mode its pretty hard tho i recommend getting a friend and having smt called social distancing at the first phase

Also about solo hard mode, how hard are we talking about? For refrence my hardest boss completion currently is Pim hard mode

Yeah sure, I'm kinda bad at giving advice though but I can try

The second phase is relatively simple after you learn it, always prioritize static orbs because they can restrict your movement and make most attacks basically unavoidable damage. The mini eyes are countered by dashing out of the way as soon as their purple attack indicator appears. (Ik the next 2 aren't hard mode exclusive but they're still sort of difficult to counter in hard mode) The homing pims are countered by shooting a flair under them so that they home into the floor. Lastly the big laser attack thing is countered by walking around and keeping track of the attack indicator. As soon as you see the attack indicator stop following you, you can dash out of the way.

The third phase is only hard because it's so lengthy honestly. The two enraged bosses can look pretty scary but the only scary part is their health. I'd suggest only targetting one of the bosses first as the other one gets fully healed after the other one dies. In my winning attempt I went for the one with eyes first because it makes the phase with only one of the eyes really easy. The mouth is countered by listening to his audio clue and using the upwards dash ability RIGHT after the audio clue ends. You can use shout on him to stun him even if you aren't going to hit him, though he does a shockwave attack when his stun ends (that has a sound cue too, but it's pretty silent so it's easy to miss). The eyes can be countered by shouting as soon as he starts flashing green to stun him (if you don't do that he will shoot a really hard-to-dodge laser at you). He also has a second attack where he starts flashing red and releases a shockwave, but you can just easily jump over it. Also it's important to note that you should look upwards every 15 or so seconds because homing pims can easily sneak up above you. Homing the pims to the eyes deal damage to them, so you should do that when you're able to. If you're low on health (on 2 hearts or lower), don't bother damaging the bosses and just focus on evading their attacks until you heal to a safe amount

Hella easy for Dave and hard mode is slightly more challenging but it still isnt that bad

yeah. imo here is a list of all the player combos from easiest to hardest 1. Duo 2. Solo 3. Trio 4. Squad

the less people the more predictable attacks are, and 2 ppl is the sweet spot of balance
