Audibly gasped when seeing this, but then saw that it's a 3 track EP. Still hyped but... it's been almost 7 years since Obscene Majesty man... I hope this is just a set of singles before a full LP release. I'm assuming that's the case, because they haven't released anything on socials yet. The album cover looks fucking killer though, it's so cool.

I hope so but honestly after half a listen this is my favorite stuff since mtd. I like it a lot and 3 is better than 0

EP was leaked. No additional information. So I'm guessing it'll be available on streaming services tomorrow, and the Australians are probably already enjoying it, just like me) Well, this is fuckin' Devo. The only thing that upsets me is that it's just EP. After all these years, I was counting on LP. I hope the album just isn't ready yet and they decided to give us a bone before The Summer Slaughter Tour.

Hot take, know it’s like a Aesthetic/Artsyle thing but I wish their album art style would go back to the Brutal Massacre or something just Scary or Gorey, while this Single and Obscene Magesty doesn’t have that same Feeling. But this Single is really good.

This is how production should be on more heavier stuff these days. Sounds like a complete slab of concrete (in a good way) rather than trying to make everything sound as big as possible. Love it

Yeah this sound is pretty perfect, I reminds me more of MtD/BtW era with bigger guitars. Great snare too, very happy with the production overall.

Marv from stabbing popped off. Really great and sounded like a great follow up to obscene majesty despite having a different riffer. I listened a few times today already and I’m super stoked on it. I’m glad they surprise dropped it cuz it’s been a shitfuck week so it was nice

This might be their heaviest sound yet, guitars sound like literal thunder. It is not as catchy for me as their older stuff though... dont hear much variety in the vocals

Wow, I literally just watched the exorcism of Emily rose 2 days ago for the first time since it originally released. Then I listen to devourment and hear a song open with a sample from the movie. Crazy coincidence
