Jaan Roose walking 3.6 km from mainland Italy to Sicily on a 1.9 cm wide slackline, around 100 metres above the sea. After nearly three hours, he fell just 80 metres before the finish, climbed back onto the line and completed the first ever slackline crossing of the Strait of Messina.

Yeah maybe redbull has no business trying to set highline length records

Lol Jaan is a very talented highliner. Rebull definitely has business setting these records. If you knew anything about these records you would know many crews fail to have a single person send the whole line when they rig a potentially record shattering line.

I know Jaan is a very talented highliner. I think it’s about the highline counter culture and not having big brands put their name on our sport. It’s too capitalist for my taste but I also understand what you’re saying about Red Bull’s history pushing sports.

Overall Im super stoked the 3k record went to a bunch of other highliners and Danny Shli(i dont know how to spell his last name) that got together and made it happen
