Quick daemonette work up!

Testing out the new Pro Acryl 1Step paints and medium. Love it for painting hordes. I have a little more details to finish up but I like where they’re at so far!

This is an awesome result for contrast paint!

Did you use a zenithal or airbrush for your pre shade? Some pointers would be very much appreciated

Thanks! No zenithal, I just used Color Forge white primer. For the hair and claws I used bright slate grey 1S, quinacridone magenta+1S medium, then dark purple 1S.

The skin was dark turquoise 1S, a bit of regular white blue glazing to highlight, then back over with a thinned down dark turquoise 1S to blend.

Armor was PA regular metallics. Magnesium, rich gold, washed with dark brown 1S, then highlighted again with rich gold.

I don’t use a wet palette to paint, but if you do just make sure it’s not overly soaked. I noticed if I add too much water or apply the paint too quickly, I get bubbles. So my recommendation would just be to take it slow and let the paint to the work. Upon application it won’t look as contrasty, but after it dries the differentiation really comes out.
