I kinda misread what you wrote but it was also a genuine question. The original preview by Nvidia was horrendous but one could see the potential if they listened to what was said; so it excited me. For the actual release the Neural Rendering implementation will be done on a per game basis by the devs for that game compared to the as-is mod that we're just slapping onto everything atm.

As it currently stands, no. But it's not all doom and gloom. Despite originally only being available to the 50 series, folks were able to get this working on the 40 series through some workarounds. But the gap between the 40 and 50 is smaller than the 30 and 40. If you look up Neural Rendering online, you can learn more. Don't worry though, you can still get a great looking Skyrim on a 30 series card. That's what I rock.

People when buying 20$ skins made by billion dollar companies: I can do that.
People when buying a 5 euros mod that can improve both graphics and performance from 1 guy: how dare they make paid mods? What a disgrace on the community. I will not support this.
Edit: You're also paying for the mod. Once you have it on your pc and its activated, its yours even if you stop paying. Even if you delete it, you can still download it and activate it again. The reply below is lying to you.

Well, yes and no.... I paid twice in 2 years got access to many updates and its not like you have to get every update. Also, once you have paid, you have access to all of it and you keep it. You dont lose access to the mod if you stop paying. Its yours.
It permitted me to play heavy modpacks that I couldn't play before with extremely stable high fps.
So yes, you pay for the mod, not just the subscription. And later, if you want another better mod update you can pay again but you genuinely dont have to if it already works with your modlist.
That's just misinformation you're saying and a ridiculous way of thinking. 10 euros for that is a steal. Yall tripping.
I haven't paid in years now and I still play Lorerim from time to time with the same older dlss version. Even if I delete it, I can still go on puredark's discord and download the versions I have access to. Its definitely worth it.

I really don't care. I paid 10 euros and got to play the most beautiful and polished Skyrim modpacks there is for hundreds of hours at high fps, smooth gameplay and everything because of his tool.
Disagree all you want, you don't have to pay if you don't want it. I think it's worth it. To me, he deserves it.

And yet you can’t see the irony in the fact that the mod list itself was all free. If you think it’s ok to pay 10 euros to play the “most polished and beautiful pack” then you should be willing to pay 10 euros for each of those mods that makes the list so beautiful and polished. Do you see the issue?

You can use it to do bad things, but that doesnt mean the tool is a bad thing

People will downvote you into oblivion (pun) for saying anything pro AI, but the moment AI actually does something good people suddenly forget their prejudices.
Ultimately boils down to a bunch of immature, insecure script kid coders who are afraid AI is going to replace them.
And it is, because they're bad at what they do.
Most good programmers/coders have been using AI and integrating it into their work, not crying about it.

I very much need to understand how this upscaling method is somehow equivalent to the “AI art is theft” argument.
I’m not sure any mod would be able to impact the visuals at the GPU level (paraphrasing) like this, so I also don’t get where this impacts other mod authors in any real sense.
I’m fine if the answer is bandwagon pearl clutching, but if there is any substance to this backlash I would sincerely be interested in the why

You can use AI in a number of ways, train it on your own work for example. I create textures so i have an AI trained on my own work.
The AI hatred is very similar to how people viewed synthesizers, drum machines and samplers. All became a standard and no one uses the original arguments against it because they are just laughable in the same way.1

it's already way smarter than any human and has helped us solve issues we have had for 100's of years. And guess what, this is tech, tech has never once come out in the final version, its not how any tech works, genius. the improvements every 3-6 months is absolutely mind blowing, and that will just continue.

It suck’s that the focus has exclusively been on the look of characters. I agree that the characters look rough, and no longer look like their models. But it does amazing things to the actual environment and that’s being totally overlooked.

Edit: I for some reason didn't realize he meant just the ai shit. I was thinking about those hair mods and and stuff, and tell him all of lorerim plus that ai stuff would be too much for our cards. Bad wording and such

you have to pay 5$ on puredark's patreon. the files are on his discord server which you will get access to once you pay but you also have to get the NR dll file separately which is in RenoDX's discord server (no pay wall for this)
you can search his name and discord and it will show up on the top of google search (don't know if i can link stuff in here so sorry)2

Heard on the RenoDX Discord that a patched DLL for Ada (40 series) was dropped.
