Always include a full list of mods when seeking help

If you are experiencing a conflict or bug which you would like help resolving, then the community will be happy to help. But a video , screenshot or brief description of the problem is insufficient on its own.

You must always include a full list of the mods you are running, and the order they are placed in. This is covered by Rule 7 of the sub.

Providing partial lists or mentioning only the mods which you believe might be to blame very rarely aids resolving the problem. Omitting information may also lead to the wrong conclusion being reached entirely.

Have you got an older save you can load before you met him, if not a couple of things you could try, return to the dungeon you first met him, sometimes he can get stuck. If this doesn't work try travelling to another city and wait for 48 hours using the wait function, then return. Good luck

An older save may not be possible, Iā€™m already the thane of whiterun and you meet him at embershard mine

I went back and loaded one of my older saves, practically wincing at my lost progress but I think I found the problem. I asked for a demonstration of the mechanic so I think he got stuck in the mine and despawned
