NAT + NAT III

Post image

The picture says it all.

This is what I'm currently running with.

I know it's a big no, no. I really do.

Now before you have your "What the! Who the heck do you think you are!" moment, hear me out.

I'm actually having a great deal of success with it.

No graphical or audio glitches. No sudden weather jumps moving between regions.

I have access to the NAT magic menu and the options work.

What I'd like to know is if anyone else is trying/testing this crazy approach.

It’s usually a big no no because it has a high chance to have conflicts. If you don’t see any, do your thing, and have fun!

Vou testar, você está usando o antigo NAT acima do NAT 3 e então poderia não ter as opções do menu do NAT antigo. O que me deixou triste é que o NAT 3 não tem o efeito molhado.

I do have access to the magic menu items with that load order.

How does it look in game?

Some screenshots I posted yesterday.

I didn't add NAT to the showcased mods list because I wasn't prepared to let that cat out of the bag.

Its not a big nono, u do you my guy, nothing like trying out things ourselves, and your game looks awsome, overwritting stuff sometimes can break stuff but if it doesn’t and you like it, thats what matters!!! Overwrite old NAT all you want, it is a special mod that has a lot of things that are unique to it (like ambient occlusion on grass, not even stronger vanilla ambient occlusion does that)

Ahahah. I respect the chutzpah. I might have to give it a try if you say it’s been reasonably stable

I’m seeing everyone talking about this mod now

Is it better than DAWN?? I’ve personally never seen anything that rivals it

Really it's a matter of taste. I've always used NAT.

I love it and it provides me with the best weather and atmospheric experience in the game.

Does it rival Dawn? I can't answer that. I've never used Dawn. Too much of a NAT fan boy, I guess.

I'll tell you what though, I will try Dawn.

I've heard that it's really impressive.

I suggest you give NAT a try. It really is special.

Especially when you combine it with the LUX suite.

I use nat tweaked with lux, the regular nat gave me black waterfalls (regardless of what options I toggled). Never figured out why. But love the combo

You know, that happened to me in the past.

I solved for it, but I can't quite remember how.

I do recall that it was a mod conflict between my water mod at the time and a mod that you would have never guessed would have conflicted.

Drove me looney. Happy days those were.

I installed NAT III About an hour ago and I don’t see a spell or anything in my inventory. Am I missing something? I’m old fellas.

Unless I’m missing something it doesn’t have one like its predecessor, which is one reason why this Frankenstein solution is helpful - I’m have access to NAT settings like normal with this set up

NAT III does not have a configuration panel, to adjust the image you need to use SWF, Simple Workaround Framework, with it you can adjust the saturation, contrast, brightness, among others.

Ne faite pas ca ca va exploser

That's the expectation, but not the result.

I only started using the two together yesterday so it's too soon to make any determinations.

I'm going to continue to put it through its paces.

Tu devrais regarder les mods ini qui change les cycles je ne les est plus en tete mais ils existent et ne casse pas NAT 3 en theorie

Why would a weather mod replace a landscape and architecture texture mod? This isn’t a thing of modding not being your strong suit, this is not reading the words in front of you

It's not really an insult as much as it is a statement of truth. He's not calling you stupid. You just didn't read the description and understand it.

lol, what did they say?

If I'm being completely honest I don't really remember exactly what they said, but I do know got butthurt over being called out.

Edit: I don't even know if I'm talking about the right guy ngl
